IBM China’s Tariff Commission announced it will raise tariffs on certain U.S. imports from 84% to 125%, effective April 12, 2025. The move responds to the U.S. increasing its own tariffs on Chinese goods to 125%. China stated that at this level, U.S. exports to China are no longer commercially viable, and it will disregard any further U.S. tariff hikes.
