Rivian Automotive's stock fell with other electric vehicle shares after President Trump canceled a mandate requiring manufacturers to sell battery electric vehicles to evade emissions penalties.

Volkswagen announced plans to invest over $10 billion in the U.S., which includes a joint venture with Rivian Automotive.
