Non-commercial is significantly net short-er than during 2020, or ever. It's absolutely not logical or even now possible to unwind in a full functioning global economy. Managed money is expecting to sell those puts to retail and hold the bag for them. They have been kicking the can down the road, as the chart shows, rolling into more puts to keep the price at bay, until they can find more suckers to believe oil is worthless. This has potential to unwind spectacularly!

XOM Looking for the green bearish scenario for this one after the 3 tops in the resistance yellow zone. Purple scenario could still happen with a break, but overall I like the short considering the recent zig zags after earnings report.
