GHYG is for investors wanting targeted exposure to high-yield corporate bonds from developed markets. The fund holds locally denominated bonds and while the bulk of currency exposure is to the US dollar, there is some exposure to other currencies, primarily the British pound and the Canadian dollar. The market-value-weighted index places a 3% cap on each issuer. GHYG uses a representative sampling technique wherein it may or may not hold all of the securities in the index but will invest in securities with the same risk and return profile.
