90% plus odds the panic still has more to go into 11/7 to 11/14 data i have goes back to 1974 but the chart posted now calls for a vxn of 49 to 74 before a panic low is see

VXN opertunity to riseI find VXN is at strong resistance level if bounce i believe will go to 20$ again. Will watch this for sure.
VXN Close <-2 ... againVXN closed <2 S.D again ~ BB moving downward so it is sign market seeing no tailrisk (SKEW/VIX), however VXN rebounded at extreme in the past.
interestingly, price will trade below the top of the bar at least once eventually ~ so watch for more extreme next week

The VIX is at it's lowest level since 2007 and the DOW is up against the top of a 70 year channel. Dan Greenhaus from BTIG made a nice observation of the VIX . Each time the VIX futures hits 16 % or lower, this is follow by a losing streak in the S&P, see table.
He finishes his commentary with this recommendation for the advisers " This is a good time to remind clients that August and September are not good months historically speaking."
