FTSE BEAR AGAIN for free in 2025I have already sent out this Analysis on #FTSE previously so if you want to check out where target 2 is you should check those ideas out. Plus you can squeeze the chart down here so you can locate the Target structure... & entry for the for the BULL trade ... but now there is a viable short again... This could go much lower as detailed in a previous idea. Lets go #FTSE and yes it was a close call on the last #BEAR idea which was again correct but closed it for perspective on stops... (as you will see) even though we are clearly still in play for still the lower TP 3.

FTSE 100 Index May Reach 8500FTSE 100 Index May Reach 8500 As shown on the chart of the UK stock index FTSE 100 (UK 100 on FXOpen): → It has risen by over 3% in three days; → It is near the record high set in May last year and may reach the psychological level of 8500 points. Bullish sentiment has been supported by yesterday's news of GDP recovery – according to media reports, the economy grew by 0.1% in November 2024 (compared to a previous decline of 0.1%), primarily driven by the dominant services sector. Technical analysis of the FTSE 100 (UK 100 on FXOpen) chart shows that since mid-2024, the index has predominantly fluctuated within the 8000–8400 range, only briefly moving beyond it, which was accompanied by spikes in the RSI indicator. The current RSI level indicates strong overbought conditions, making the FTSE 100 (UK 100 on FXOpen) vulnerable to a pullback. Should this occur, it will provide important insights into the strength of demand. This could be assessed by the index’s ability to remain above the 8333 support level and the lower boundary of the ascending channel (marked in blue). Potential challenges for bulls are highlighted by MT Newswires, which report that analysts forecast higher inflation and weaker growth in 2025, amid expectations of a significant rise in labour costs. UK100 - In preparation for the GDP & Inflation dataHi guys we would be taking a look next into the FTSE - "UK100" - Previously we caught a good momentum with this trade, and this is what we are aiming to achieve today as well.Currently on 1H and 4H the RSI indicator is showcasing very oversold levels, so we are looking into a good swing trade into the reversed ascending channel. Additionally by the end of the week we have a few very important fundamental news in the eyes of the GDP data and Inflation level, hopefully that would be helpful for us to reach our goal. 4-hr UK100: 150 Points Target for a Long Position A couple of weeks ago, the UK's leading stock market index, the FTSE100, dropped to a low of 8000, forming a Double Bottom—a classic reversal pattern. Since then, the index has surged by over 320 points, signaling that buyers may have regained control. This is further supported by the emergence of a Golden Cross pattern, which underscores the strength of the new upward momentum. However, the inability of major US indices to recover and the slight pullback in the German DAX40 suggest the UK100 may also face a correction. Despite these concerns, the broader uptrend and bullish momentum appear intact, as the RSI indicates no overbought conditions. However, caution is warranted, and entering long trades after a minor pullback would provide a more favorable risk-to-reward setup. 4-hr UK100: A Potential for 200 points RiseLike its US and German counterparts, the UK100 saw a decline starting in mid-December, dropping 400 points before finding support. Over the past few weeks, the index has rebounded by more than 200 points, signaling buyers have regained control. The strong upward momentum is further confirmed by a Golden Cross, a classic buy signal. However, since Friday, the FTSE has pulled back slightly, dropping 80 points to retest immediate support at the 23% Fibonacci retracement.
