Brazil imports mainly manufactured goods (89 percent of total imports), namely machinery, fuels and lubricants, chemicals and pharmaceutical products, and parts and accessories for motor vehicles and tractors. The country also imports raw materials (11 percent), mostly crude oil, coal, natural gas and wheat grain. Main import partners are China (22 percent), the US (19 percent), Argentina and Germany (5 percent each) and Canada, Japan, Chile and Mexico (2 percent each).
