Net Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) represents the balance of cross-border direct investment flows, calculated as the difference between inbound and outbound direct investments recorded in the Balance of Payments. A positive value indicates a net inflow of direct investment into the country, while a negative value suggests a net outflow.
