UPERGY SA distributes consumable products for professionals and individuals. It operates through two divisions: Battery and Health & Safety. The Battery Division designs and distributes all types of batteries, chargers, adapters and portable lighting products. The Health & Safety division sells items related to health, hygiene, safety and protection of rights at work. Its products are classified into two types namely, on-board energy products and healthcare products. The on-board energy products include batteries, power cells, rechargeable batteries, chargers and portable lighting products. The healthcare products include bandages, compresses, wipes, cleaners, medical equipment, stethoscopes, blood pressure gauges, otoscopes, examination drapes, first-aid products, kits, medicine chests, and individual protection equipment, suits, gloves, masks, hardhats and goggles. The company was founded by Christian Dutel and Fernand-luc Buffelard in 1996 and is headquartered in Limonest, France.
