DEME Group NV operates as a marine sustainable solutions provider. Its operating business segments include: Offshore Energy, Dredging & Infra, Environmental, and Concessions. The Offshore Energy segment provides engineering and contracting services globally in the offshore renewable and non-renewable sectors. The Dredging & Infra segment performs a wide variety of dredging activities including capital & maintenance dredging, land reclamation, port construction, coastal protection and beach nourishment works. The Environmental segment offers solutions for soil remediation and brownfield redevelopment, as well as environmental dredging and sediment treatment. The Concessions segment is the investment & development arm of the company which invests in, develops, builds & operates greenfield and brownfield projects in three sectors: offshore wind, dredging & marine infrastructure, and green hydrogen. The company was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium.
