AAL Retracement into Long?AAL broke out nicely from the previous resistance (now support) level on a long bullish run. Price has retraced and formed a descending triangle.
Lots of confluence to support a long here. With a TP a the previous high, just pre-gap. My entry at this stage would give me a 72% gain at a Risk to Reward of 7 to 1.
A trade with this R:R ratio means that you could have 6 losing trades in a row, and still make money. These are the kinds of quality trades you should be taking.

AAL Trade, 3% risk/14% upsideDead cat bounce since Dec 28, trailed down to 15.13. Found support from a previous spike high coinciding with ichomoku cloud on the 4hr, playing with shares and a tight stop.
Headline markets, announcement on the use of stimulus funds could be beneficial in finding a bottom.

American Airline Long term buy position, would not over-leverLong term buy position, looks like this stock will recover when travel disruptions come to an end, fundamentally speaking.
From a Technical perspective, the stock is just.. cheap.
This comes under a "value invest" category for investing, in the short - mid term.
Yes I know Supreme over-lord Buffett dumped this stock a while back, doesn't mean it still won't retrace over time.
Remember, there is a high chance that there are other stocks or financial instruments in existence, which will offer a higher ROI than this stock, meaning your money may be more "valuable" elsewhere in the market.
I still think this will retrace to bring you at least 100% returns, over time.
This stock has the possibility of retouching a $1.93 extreme hard-support area, but I doubt this will actually happen.
Risky, and I expect this to be quite a volatile stock, so I would cap the amount of investment that goes into this trade.
To condense, I believe this stock is in the process of a reversal.

BUY AAL (AMERICAN AIRLINES)- Buy at $18 to be safe.*Enter trade when there is a confirmation of a successful breakout when it retraces back to resistance line* potential buy at $15.75 as well due to strong support from the 200 EMA or $12 at support line - oversold on stochastics = uptrend 🚀
- American airlines in a symmetrical triangle and starting to show some support and become an uptrend= break out and reach a target of $31 or even higher if you want to keep as a long term investment to previous resistance with the stimulus of the vaccine and the hopes of the airline industry gaining strength again
- American airlines is also well below its intrinsic value ($30).
