Braskem Idesa SAPI is a Mexican company founded in 2010 as a partnership between Braskem, the largest petrochemical company on the continent producing thermoplastics, and Grupo, a leading Mexican petrochemical company. The joint venture company is based in Mexico City, Mexico, and has subsidiaries in Mexico. The company developed a petrochemical complex in the municipality of Nanchital, in Mexico, which began operating in 2016 and produces one million fifty thousand tons per year of ethylene and polyethylene.
