JDC Corp. engages in the civil engineering, architecture and real estate businesses. It operates through the following business segments: Civil Engineering, Buildings, and Related Business. The Civil Engineering segment covers social infrastructure improvement such as dam, river, bridge, tunnel, road, water supply and sewerage, construction work and earthquake related reconstruction work. It also includes construction management of related construction work up to solar power plant construction work. The Buildings segment comprises of construction of large-scale facilities such as government buildings, public facilities, stadiums, buildings and condominiums. It also handles management of processes required for the processors for construction, form control and quality control. The Related Business segment pertains to real estate development such as real estate sales, leasing,and urban and regional development. It also operates leasing business of renewable energy and equipment for construction. The company was founded on April 10, 1951 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
