THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of week update from us here at KOG: A frustrating and ranging week on Gold however, the bias level and targets worked well as well as the hot spots we've shared with the wider community. Yesterday we suggested price playing the two circled regions, which it has. Today we published the KOG REPORT NFP, which gave us a bounce from the level we wanted but the move into the higher levels just wasn't to happen. Overall, the pip capture has been fantastic, we've stayed with the range and the red box indicators have worked wonders. To close, we have support below 2885 and resistance above 2910 which will need to break to go higher. We're too late into the session now to get involved in the markets so we'll take this opportunity to wish you all a great weekend ahead, and we'll see you on Sunday for the KOG Report and our view for the week. HelenP. I Gold can rebound down from resistance zone Hi folks today I'm prepared for you Gold analytics. On this chart, we can observe how the price rebounded from the trend line and began rising along it. Shortly after, the price climbed towards the support level, which aligned with the support zone, broke through it, and then entered a consolidation phase. Within this range, the price retested the broken level before surging toward the resistance level, which coincided with the upper boundary of the consolidation. It even briefly moved into the resistance zone. However, the price then reversed, made a slight correction, and quickly pushed back into the resistance area. Gold traded within the resistance zone for some time before dropping to the support level, breaking below the trend line, and then rebounding. Soon after, it recovered to the trend line but recently reversed and started declining again. In my view, XAUUSD is likely to re-enter the resistance area before reversing and declining toward 2860 points within the consolidation. XAUUSD: Last push before major correction.Gold is bullish on its 1D technical outlook (RSI = 60.610, MACD = 34.740, ADX = 32.308) as the recent geopolitics and tariff fundamentals are strengthening it as a safe haven. Fundamentals aside, the price is also being guided higher by the technical similarities with the October 2024 pattern. As you can see, it was after an identical Cup and Handle pattern that bottomed on the 4H MA200 that initiated a Channel Up to the 2.0 Fib extension that completed a +18.50% rise. THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG: On Sundays KOG Report we said lower pricing was on the horizon but the set up just wasn't presenting itself. We had the level above for the short, which although we missed by 30pips, gave us the perfect zone for the short. As you can see, Red boxes played the part again, the indicator tracking the zones allowing us to long for the retracements and short all the way down completing not only the red box levels, KOG's bias of the week and day targets, but also the daily bias and red box targets. After the move, we're now at a key level fighting for the weekly and monthly close with support below at the 2835 level and resistance which we targeted at 2850. A range here can force the close between the order region which can result in more bearish movement next week so please play caution trading late session. We'll have to put the analysis together and prepare for the week ahead in the KOG which will be available on Sunday. For now, a blessed week and again, nearly point to point level to level. Gold Holds Support – Is a Break Above $2,925 Coming?Yesterday, Gold pulled back from the 2,925 resistance zone, but the bulls regained control at support, leading to price consolidation. Gold Short Couple of View Points technically Weekly - After a successful 8 weeks of positive return, Gold last week came down from the top and broke its previous weeks low level and went down by 2.66% which signifies there is selling seen on the top side. Apart form that whenever gold corrects prom the top it comes down to 10 WEMA which is 3% down or 20 WEMA which is 5% down.
