GOLD 4H CHART ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Another great day on the markets today. After completing our 1h chart route map yesterday, we moved onto our 4 chart route map.
On this chart idea, we got our Bullish target at 3330 hit, followed with candle body close gaps to 3372 and 3414, as ema5 didn't catch up due to momentum. However, the body close breaks on each level still gave us enough time for the confirmation before being hit.
We then managed to get ema5 cross and lock above 3414 opening 3457, which was also hit perfectly, completing this target with confirmation. No further lock above 3457 confirmed the rejection. However, we now have a body close above 3457 with a gap to 3503, which just fell short by a few pips.
We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up.
We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 30 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid term swings and trends.

Market Analysis: Gold Extends Record RunMarket Analysis: Gold Extends Record Run
Gold price started a fresh surge above the $3,250 resistance level.
Important Takeaways for Gold Price Analysis Today
- Gold price started a fresh surge and traded to a new record high at $3,384 against the US Dollar.
- A key bullish trend line is forming with support at $3,322 on the hourly chart of gold at FXOpen.
Gold Price Technical Analysis
On the hourly chart of Gold at FXOpen, the price formed a base near the $3,200 zone. The price started a steady increase above the $3,250 and $3,280 resistance levels.
There was a decent move above the 50-hour simple moving average and $3,350. The bulls pushed the price above the $3,380 resistance zone. A new record high was formed near $3,384 and the price is now consolidating gains.
On the downside, immediate support is near the $3,362 level and the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the upward move from the $3,283 swing low to the $3,384 high.
The next major support sits at $3,322. There is also a key bullish trend line forming with support at $3,322. It is near the 61.8% Fib retracement level of the upward move from the $3,283 swing low to the $3,384 high.
A downside break below the trend line support might send the price toward the $3,282 support. Any more losses might send the price toward the $3,242 support zone.
Immediate resistance is near the $3,384 level. The next major resistance is near the $3,388 level. An upside break above the $3,388 resistance could send Gold price toward $3,500. Any more gains may perhaps set the pace for an increase toward the $3,520 level.

Gold can break support level and continue to declineHello traders, I want share with you my opinion about Gold. For a while, Gold was confidently moving within an upward channel, with each impulse supported by rebounds from the lower boundary. After breaking out of the buyer zone, the price made a strong bullish move, supported by momentum and healthy corrections. This movement continued up to the current support level at 3285, where the price began to stall. Then, a classic Head and Shoulders pattern has now fully formed. The left shoulder, head, and right shoulder are all visible and aligned with the support area, which now acts as the neckline of the pattern. This isn't random, it's a well-defined reversal signal forming after an extended bullish leg. The rejection from the right shoulder shows evident seller control, and the price is now testing the neckline from below. The support area has already been broken once, and any bounce from here appears corrective rather than impulsive. Given this setup, I expect that price can fully breakdown toward the 3060 level, which acts as both a strong historical support and my TP1. Please share this idea with your friends and click Boost 🚀
GOLD 4H CHART ROUTE MAP UPDATE & TRADING PLAN FOR THE WEEKHey Everyone,
Please see our updated 4h chart levels and targets for the coming week.
We are seeing price play between two weighted levels with a gap above at 3343 and a gap below at 3282. We will need to see ema5 cross and lock on either weighted level to determine the next range. We have a bigger range in play then usual.
We will see levels tested side by side until one of the weighted levels break and lock to confirm direction for the next range.
We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up.

#XAUUSD :Is it a Correction Or a start of Major Bearish Trend? Gold has plummeted from 3550 to 3270, and it’s been falling steadily. We firmly believe that the price could reverse from either of our entry points, but given its significant drop, it raises concerns among traders. If the trend has shifted to bearish, it will likely continue to target buyers’ stop losses. In these market conditions, we strongly advise trading with utmost caution and prioritising risk management.
Good luck and trade safely.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
A great finish to the week with all our chart ideas completed, as analysed.
This is our 4h chart update that started with the open Bullish target and then all the way to the top into our final target with a few pips short and then followed with a perfect rejection on our final Goldturn.
The price dropped into each lower Goldturns for support and gave the 30 to 40 pip bounces like we always state. The final drop went and completed the open bearish target at 3282, completing this chart idea top to bottom.

THE KOG REPORTTHE KOG REPORT:
In last week’s KOG Report we said we would be looking for a test of that 3250 level, then looking for the short into the target level given. This move played out well giving our traders a great start to the week. We then identified the level we wanted as the bias level, gave the bias as bullish above and the targets to go with it. All targets were completed and we managed to end the week with a mega capture on gold.
So, what can we expect in the week ahead?
Simple one this week. We would like to see how price adapts to the new range, and due to the slight stretch, we would say caution on long trades until we can see a support level confirmed. Our indi’s are suggesting a further move upside, so we would like to see an attack on that 3350-55 level first, which is where we may get a pull back, and then an attempt at higher pricing as shown on the chart.
We want to look to those higher resistance levels as potential short opportunities if visited first. Otherwise, we’ll look lower for the long trade again and as long as the set up presents itself, we’ll test the levels.
Due to news over the weekend and it being a bank holiday weekend, all of the above is subject to change as there are likely to be gaps on market open. Let’s see how it plays out, levels are levels!

GOLD DAILY CHART ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Here’s the latest update on our daily chart idea, it’s been playing out perfectly!
After we got the close above 3297, the gap up to 3433 completed exactly as we had analysed. However, without a further close or lock above 3433, the rejection was confirmed with a wick, and price then found support above the channel top, just as we always highlight.
With EMA5 still holding above the channel top, we’re likely to continue seeing support and price action playing above the channel. This opens the door for another retest of 3433. However, if price breaks back inside the channel along with EMA5, the levels inside the channel will reactivate for level-to-level plays.
This is the beauty of our Goldturn channels, drawn using weighted averages instead of pure price action. This unique approach helps us clearly identify fake-outs and real breakouts, cutting out much of the noise that usually confuses traders.
Moving forward, we’ll focus on smaller timeframes (1H and 4H) to buy dips off the weighted Goldturns, aiming for clean 30–40 pip moves. Ranging markets are perfect for this style, allowing us to capitalize on quick moves without getting caught in the chop of larger swings.
Thank you all again for your continued likes, comments, and follows, we truly appreciate your support!

Gold’s ATH Rally Slowing Down – Needs Correction!!!Gold ( OANDA:XAUUSD ) has been on a strong uptrend in recent weeks , creating a new All-Time High(ATH) almost every day. Will a new ATH be created after $3,500 in the coming days? What do you think?
Gold is moving between the Resistance zone($3,386-$3,357) and Support zone($3,282-$3,245) .
In terms of Elliott Wave theory , it seems that Gold has started to form Corrective Waves after recording the latest ATH . Gold is completing a Zigzag Correction wave (ABC/5-3-5) ( most likely ).
I expect Gold to start declining again after approaching the Resistance zone($3,386-$3,357) and attack the Support lines and Support zone($3,282-$3,245) . It seems like Gold needs a correction , do you agree with me!? In the worst-case scenario for my analysis, Gold starts falling from the resistance zone($3,431-$3,406) .
Note: If Gold can move above $3,440, we can expect more pumps and maybe make na ew All-Time High(ATH).

THE KOG REPORT THE KOG REPORT:
In last week’s KOG Report we said we would be looking for the price to continue upside into the region given which gave us a fantastic capture for the start of the week. We then had to adapt as the bias level and targets on the red box indi changed suggesting more upside. We continued to complete all our bias above targets as well as Excalibur and LiTE giving us 100% again for the week!
It wasn’t easy as it sounds, it took a lot of work and constant monitoring but the pip capture on gold was out of this world and well worth it!
So, what can we expect from the week ahead?
For this week we seem to be creating a DB on the 4hr chart which entails caution. We have resistance just above at the 3330-35 with extension 3240-45 region which if attacked and rejected in the early session could give the potential short trade into the support level 3295-8 which is the key level that needs to break for us to go lower.
There is a lot of liquidity above, especially those who like us shorted and held trades from the 3450 levels so the bias this week changes to the 3350-55 level, break above and we will confirm the move higher, otherwise, our thoughts are a test is likely on the high but we would like to get that long from lower to again create a new ATH.
Let’s see how we open, these markets need to be adapted to every day so making long terms plans as intra-day traders isn’t on our agenda at the moment. The market is giving short term, so why not take advantage of the conditions while they last.
Potential for gaps on open so please be careful, we’re on red boxes and extreme levels only.
RED BOXES INDI LEVELS:
Break above 3320 for 3327, 3330, 3335, 3345, 3347 and above that 3362 in extension of the move
Break below 3310, for 3306, 3297, 3295, 3280, 3266 and 3255 in extension of the move
Even the scalping levels are HUGE!

XAUUSD COT and Liquidity AnalysisHey what up traders welcome to the COT data and Liquidity report. It's always good to go with those who move the market here is what I see in their cards. I share my COT - order flow views every weekend.
🎯 Non Commercials reduced their longs exposure by more then 50K. Its seem to me like the momentum is slowing down and pullback will be healthy here
📍Please be aware that institutions report data to the SEC on Tuesdays and data are reported on Fridays - so again we as retail traders have disadvantage, but there is possibility to read between the lines. Remember in the report is what they want you to see, that's why mostly price reverse on Wednesday after the report so their cards are hidden as long as possible. However if the trend is running you can read it and use for your advantage.
💊 Tip
if the level has confluence with the high volume on COT it can be strong support / Resistance.

#XAUUSD: We are up 1040+ pips from our previous setup! Gold has risen from 3268 to 3364, helping us make substantial positive gains. However, after reaching the $3364 region, the price dropped around 3310 and has since been fluctuating between 3310 and 3340, making it challenging to trade. There’s a possibility that the price might touch 3400 once again before it drops.
Good luck and trade safely.

THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG:
Quiet day on gold for a change which was much needed after the moves we've seen over the last couple of weeks. We wanted to see this move yesterday and long into those resistance levels which has worked well today giving a decent capture.
We now have support at the 3315 level which is circled and an area of interest above, which if supported could be a the potential move into the close/Asia session.
Preference now is on taking a back seat and waiting for this to break out of the range, then capture the next trade.
RED BOXES:
Break above 3335 for 3345, 3347, 3355 and 3367 in extension of the move
Break below 3320 for 3310, 3306, 3296, 3286 and 3380 in extension of the move

THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG:
That worked pretty well!
We gave the path yesterday for the potential move up on open and the target level we would be looking for which was 600pips away. Market opened, straight into the target level! It's there we got a small RIP but nothing significant so we decided to wait as Excalibur activated. That gave some traders an opportunity to long again into the target which is where we shared the RIP captured for the short.
We're still not re-testing that level which could mean support below holds at the 3406-10 region and we see a retest of that 3430-35 level during the session to come. It that level again that needs to be watched with the extension of the move into 3450-55 which is now open!
As always, trade safe.

Gold Hits 3500! What’s Next? Gold Hits 3500! What’s Next?
Gold has reached 3500, but the move happened during a time of very low trading activity, which raises some concerns.
This kind of price action may not be sustainable, so we should be cautious about potential downward corrections.
Keep an eye out for any signs of a bearish pullback.

GOLD WEEKLY CHART MID/LONG TERM ROUTE MAPHey Everyone,
Quick update on our weekly chart idea, it's been playing out beautifully, helping us track the move down and catch the move back up.
After hitting our final channel top target at 3281, we mentioned we would look for support forming above the channel. That’s exactly what happened, with price finding support outside the channel and giving us the bounce we anticipated.
We also got a body close above 3281, which completed the gap up to 3387. From here, we'll be watching for continued support above the channel, a retest of 3387, and a close above it to confirm the continuation higher.
If we fail to retest and close above 3387, we’ll likely see a reset back to the channel top. Should that support fail, we would expect a break of the EMA5 back into the channel, resetting the play inside the channel with all previous levels back in play.
Thanks again for all your likes, comments, and follows, we really appreciate the support!

XAU/USD: Bull or Bear? (READ THE CAPTION)By analyzing the gold chart on the 30-minute timeframe, we can see that yesterday, right after posting the analysis, the price quickly hit the first target at $3307, then experienced a bounce and rallied to the $3369 supply zone. From there, gold faced more downward pressure and eventually reached the targets at $3303, $3297, and nearly $3285.
Currently, gold is trading around $3291, and if $3285 is broken, we could expect further downside toward levels below $3259.

GOLD April Rally Continues📉 Flash Corrections and New Highs:
Gold has shown sharp swings, dropping to $3,287 per ounce and swiftly hitting a historic high of $3,500. These moves are not chaos but reflect deep processes within the global financial system.
🔍 Key Drivers of Today’s Gold Market
1️⃣ Geopolitics on Edge:
Trade wars between the US and China, political instability, and the upcoming US elections have fueled demand for safe assets. Central banks continue purchasing gold at a pace exceeding 1,000 tons per year, challenging the dominance of the US dollar.
2️⃣ Stagflation and Fed Policy:
Markets are pricing in rate cuts, traditionally strengthening gold’s position. Even short-term easing of geopolitical tensions hasn’t derailed the bullish trend — inflation expectations and weakening consumer confidence keep pushing prices upward.
3️⃣ China as a Major Player:
It’s not just state-level purchases — retail demand among China’s Gen Z is hitting new highs. Institutional mandates requiring gold holdings further tighten global supply, reinforcing upward pressure.
📊 Technical Outlook : Where to Look for Entry Points
Support Levels: $3,260 – $3,280
Resistance Levels: $3,420 and the psychological barrier at $3,500
April followed a classic scenario: breakout to new highs, profit-taking, and return to key levels for position re-entry. For the attentive investor, this isn’t a reason for panic but an opportunity to reload into a long-term bullish trend.
Gold is not just an asset — it’s a barometer of trust in the global financial system. Every time the system falters, gold shines brighter.
Conclusion
The gold market in April 2025 is a textbook example of how global risks turn into opportunities for those ready to act. Volatility only scares those who don’t understand it.
As always, stay one step ahead.
Best regards, EXCAVO

Why I Deal With Losses Before They Even Appear📉 Mastering the mindset that most traders avoid
There’s a moment that happens in every trader’s journey — not during a win, but during a loss.
A frozen moment where your mind screams, “It shouldn’t have gone this way!”
You look at the screen, your stop is hit, your equity drops, and your brain starts the negotiation:
“What if I held a bit longer?”
“Maybe the stop was too tight.”
“I need to make this back. Now.”
But the problem didn’t start with that loss.
It started long before you placed the trade.
________________________________________
💡 The Biggest Lie in Trading: “I’ll Deal With It When It Happens”
Too many traders operate from a place of reactivity.
They focus on the chart, the breakout, the “R:R,” the indicator... but they forget the only thing that actually matters:
❗️ What if this trade fails — and how will I handle it?
That’s not a pessimistic question.
It’s the most professional one you can ask.
If you only accept the possibility of a loss after the loss happens, it’s too late.
You’ve already sabotaged yourself emotionally — and probably financially, too.
So here's the core principle I apply every single day:
________________________________________
🔒 I Accept the Loss Before I Enter
Before I click "Buy" or "Sell," I already know:
✅ What my stop is.
✅ How much that stop means in money.
✅ That I am 100% okay losing that amount.
If any of those don’t align, the trade is dead before it begins.
This is not negotiable.
________________________________________
🚫 Don’t Touch the Stop. Touch the Volume.
One of the biggest mistakes I see — and I’ve done it too, early on — is this:
You find a clean technical setup. Let’s say the proper stop is 120 pips away.
You feel it’s too wide. You want to tighten it to 40. Why?
Not because the market structure says so — but because your ego can’t handle the potential loss.
❌ That’s not trading. That’s emotional budgeting.
Instead, keep the stop where it technically makes sense.
Then reduce the volume until the potential loss — in money, not pips — is emotionally tolerable.
We trade capital, not distance.
________________________________________
🧠 This Is the Only Risk Model That Makes Sense
Your strategy doesn’t need to win every time.
It just needs to keep you in the game long enough to let the edge play out.
If your risk is too big for your mental tolerance, it’s not sustainable.
And if it’s not sustainable, it’s not professional trading.
The goal isn’t to be right. The goal is to survive long enough to be consistent.
________________________________________
📋 My Framework: How I Deal with Losses Before They Show Up
Here’s my mental checklist for every trade:
1. Accept the loss before entering.
If I’m not okay losing X, I reduce the volume or skip the trade.
2. Set the stop based on structure, not comfort.
If the setup needs a 150-pip stop, so be it. It’s not about feelings.
3. Adjust volume to match my comfort zone.
I never trade “big” just because a setup looks “great.” Ego has no place here.
4. View trades as part of a series.
I expect losses. I expect drawdowns. One trade means nothing.
5. Be willing to exit early if the story changes.
If price invalidates the idea before the stop is hit (or the target), I’m gone.
________________________________________
🧘♂️ If You Can’t Sleep With the Trade, You’re Doing It Wrong
Peace of mind is underrated.
If a trade is making you anxious — not because it’s near SL, but because it’s threatening your sense of control — something is off.
And that something is usually your risk size.
Professional trading isn’t built on adrenaline.
It’s built on calm decisions, repeated for years.
________________________________________
🏁 Final Thoughts: Profit is Optional. Loss Management is Mandatory.
If you want to become consistent, start every trade with a simple, brutally honest question:
“Can I lose this money and still feel calm, focused, and in control?”
If the answer is no, you’re not ready for the trade — no matter how good the chart looks.
Profit is a possibility.

Dealing with Stress in Trading: The Silent Killer of PerformanceTrading is hard. But not just technically or economically — emotionally, it's one of the most demanding things you can do.
Charts, indicators, news, setups — they’re all part of the job. But behind every click, there’s a person reacting to fear, frustration, regret, and pressure.
And that’s where stress creeps in.
In this article, we’ll explore:
• Why trading stress hits harder than most think
• How it manifests (and sabotages) your decisions
• Practical ways to reduce and manage stress
• The mindset shift that changes everything

🔥 Why Trading Is Uniquely Stressful
Most jobs reward consistency. Trading, ironically, punishes it at times.
You can do everything “right” and still lose money. You can follow your plan, manage risk, and still watch a red candle wipe your equity.
The problem?
Our brains aren’t built for that kind of randomness. We crave cause-effect logic — but markets aren't and most of all don’t care.
This disconnect creates cognitive dissonance . The result? Stress builds up.

🧠 How Stress Sabotages Traders (Without Them Realizing)
Stress doesn’t always show up as panic. More often, it shows up as:
• Overtrading (trying to ‘fix’ bad trades emotionally)
• Freezing (not taking good setups out of fear)
• Revenge trading (turning a bad trade into a disaster)
• Inconsistency (changing strategy mid-week, mid-trade, mid-breath)
• Physical symptoms (fatigue, headaches, insomnia — yes, it's real)
Left unchecked, stress creates a loop:
Stress → bad trades → more stress → worse decisions.

🛠️ Practical Techniques to Manage Trading Stress
Here’s what actually helps — not the Instagram-fluff, but what real traders use:
1. Create Pre-Defined Trade Plans
Stress loves uncertainty. But when you enter a trade with exact entries, stops, and targets, you leave less room for panic-based decisions.
✅ Pro tip: Write your trade plan down. Don’t trade from memory.

2. Use the 3-Strike Rule
If you take 3 consecutive losses or bad trades — stop for the day, or if you are a swing trader, stop for the week, come back on Monday. It’s not about revenge. It’s about protecting mental capital.
“When in doubt, protect your focus. You can’t trade well without it.”

3. Build a Trading Routine (Like a Ritual)
Start each session the same way. Same coffee, same chart review, same breathing.
Why? It anchors your brain. Predictability in your environment reduces the emotional chaos inside your head.

4. Step Away from the Screen (Yes, Physically)
After a tough trade, move. Walk. Stretch. Get outside. Go to gym, ride your bike(these I do most often). Reset your nervous system. Trading is mental, but stress is physical too.
You’re not a robot. Don't act like one.

5. Track Your Emotional State (Not Just P&L)
Keep a trading journal where you note how you felt before/after trades.
You’ll find patterns like:
• “I lose when I’m bored and looking for action”
• “My best trades happen when I feel calm and centered”
Awareness = control.

🧭 The Mindset Shift: From Outcome to Process
This might be the most important thing I’ll ever tell you:
Detach from results. Fall in love with process.
Your goal isn’t to win every trade.
Your goal is to execute your plan with discipline.
Every time you do that — even on a losing trade — you’re winning the real game.
That’s how stress stops being the master and becomes the servant.

🧘 Final Thought: Stress Will Never Go Away — and That’s Okay
You’ll always feel something. But the goal isn’t to be emotionless — it’s to be aware and in control.
Trading is like martial arts: the best fighters aren’t calm because they feel nothing. They’re calm because they’ve trained their response.
So train yours.

💬 Remember, consistency in mindset creates consistency in results.
Gold - 7000 USD by 2027 (must see, sell here!)Gold is extremely bullish, but nothing lasts forever. To trade gold profitably, you need to always trade with a trend. Clearly the trend is bullish, so we want to open only long positions and avoid short positions to increase the probability of success, and it doesn't matter if you are an intraday or swing trader. When can this huge uptrend end?
The price of gold is inside this huge ascending parallel channel on the monthly chart. This channel has a total of 5 touches, and we are waiting for the 6th touch to take action. I made a calculation, and gold will hit the top of the channel at around 7000 USD in around 2027. This channel is on the LOG scale, so to draw it, you need to switch from linear to LOG. This ascending channel started in 1993 and currently has 32 years!
From the Elliott Wave perspective, we are in wave 3, so expect a wave 4 pullback, probably this or next year. This upcoming pullback will drop the price by 20% to 30% based on historical data. But right now I am very bullish and expect much higher prices!
Please let me know in the comment section what your ultimate profit target for gold is. Are you also bullish? Trading is not hard if you have a good coach! This is not a trade setup, as there is no stop-loss or profit target. I share my trades privately. Thank you, and I wish you successful trades!
