Accurate Predictions Made by AI for Coca-ColaIn the evolving landscape of financial markets, artificial intelligence (AI) continues to make significant strides, transforming the way analysts and traders approach stock market predictions. The case of Coca-Cola Consolidated (COKE) serves as a compelling example of AI's growing influence and effectiveness in identifying investment opportunities. On October 3, 2023, an AI-based analysis tool named A.I.dvisor detected a bullish technical pattern known as a Wedge Falling pattern in the stock of Coca-Cola Consolidated, trading at $633.43. This pattern is typically recognized by a narrowing price range over time, suggesting a potential reversal from a downtrend to an uptrend. The detection of such patterns, which can be elusive to the human eye due to the complexity and volume of market data, underscores the AI's capability to harness vast datasets and apply sophisticated algorithms for predictive analysis. A week later, on October 10, A.I.dvisor confirmed the bullish pattern, projecting a target price of $675.48. This price target was not arbitrarily set but was likely determined through a combination of historical data analysis, pattern recognition, and statistical modeling, demonstrating the AI's ability to synthesize and extrapolate from existing market trends. The prediction came to fruition 28 days later, on November 7, when COKE's stock price reached the target, culminating in a 6.39% gain for investors who followed the AI's guidance and took a long position based on the bullish pattern. This event not only highlights the potential financial benefits of leveraging AI in stock trading but also illustrates the increasing reliability of AI predictions in the volatile domain of stock market investments. The success story of COKE, facilitated by AI analysis, emphasizes the transformative impact AI is having on financial analysis and trading. By automating the detection of complex patterns and providing actionable insights, AI tools like A.I.dvisor are not only democratizing access to sophisticated market analysis but are also enhancing the decision-making process for traders and investors, regardless of their size or sophistication level. Moreover, this case points to a broader trend of AI integration into financial markets, where it is becoming an indispensable tool for those seeking to navigate the complexities of investing with greater precision and confidence. As AI technologies continue to evolve and their predictive capabilities become more refined, the potential for AI to drive innovation and efficiency in financial markets is vast, promising a new era where data-driven insights lead to more informed and potentially more profitable investment decisions. COKE Preliminary trading plan for earningsBasically, coke is setting up for a nice little trade setup around earnings. As we sit right now, the short term indicators are nearly flipped, and the longer term indicators are crossed down, which implies some bearish movement incoming. Nov 7th is the date to eye, but not only that, catching a falling knife in this case has you catching into some strong support. My ideal trade would be a bounce around 615-618, with confirmation on the top side of both trend support and horizontal support. Ideally, the bounce is seen and the entry occurs before 625.00. If this price movement lines up with earnings, as shown by the pink arrow. It would hit a lot of needed price targets, confirmations, and allow for a nice movement towards the topside. This is a rough trading plan and subject to change as trends start to redevelop and break. However, either way, it sets up a nice play for earnings. In other words, if we pump into earnings and we're nearing 650-680, I'd be looking for short plays. IF we are down around 621 a week before earnings or the day of or after the announcement, I'd be using that as an chance to jump in long with some pretty good odds. by nicktussing77Published 0

Algos are Mixing up Harmonic Patterns? And this is making it difficult to pinpoint a pattern. IE this has every characteristic of a Butterfly. It pulled on the retracement leg to the .786. Peak 2 is lower than peak 1. The shark has no parameters for leg2 retracement, but the Shark has peak 2 higher than peak 1. This is not a shark. It is not a Cypher as it pulled up past the .618/plus peak 2 is lower than peak 1. This pattern ends at the 1.113 for now, yet it is virtually not following rules of a harmonic pattern I know of. It pulled too far on the retracement/2nd leg/to be a uniform bat which can end at the 1.113 or the .886. Maybe it will eventually hit the 1.272 fib level. Probably so. Or lower. My point being the computer algos, or somebody, are not trading patterns close to the correct levels. And by no means do harmonic patterns always hit the level exactly. But the ones I am seeing are way off the mark. It is just not correct at all for now. No recommendation. Volume does not support the move up. I left the fib table on this chart as it fired off at the 1.113 which is not typical for a Butterfly pattern. I have also noted the new 1.414 W and M pattern which is documented nowhere online that i can find. I see it a lot. It almost seems like these algos are programed a bit differently than the actual documented pattern as I know it. Be safe/all we can do is adjust.by lauraleaUpdated 3
Q&As: tick chartsI can assume many people heard about other people using tick charts & tick-aggregated (xd) tick charts. You know, like 233 ticks, 512 ticks etc 1) It never makes sense to aggregate tick charts by ticks. You loose information. Unless there's a specific reason you're very well aware off, there's no sense in all these 64 tick, 89 tick charts or whatever many ticks; 2) General rule is when you really need to use tick charts is when, well, there's nothing to aggregate... You're scrolling through resolutions lower->higher: 20Y bars (ok, maybe in the next century but still), 5Y bars, 1Y bars, 1Q bars, 1M bars, 1W bars, 1D bars, 2H Bars, 30m bars... Suddenly on 30m bars, you realize that lotta stuff missing, you see the holes in the chart, no trades happening during these particular intervals ie no bars were formed. And at this point, generally when you have more than 30% NA values, now it's the time to substitute the current resolution with pure tick chart, not before, not after. So now, instead of 30m bars you use tick charts, and obviously you stop scrolling deeper into resolutions. 3) the last 256 ticks (general rule, can be expanded and expanded and expanded) is what you're interested in; 4) Regardless the vehicle, real volumes (not the inferred ones) are used on ticks charts.Educationby gorx1Published 1
