NTLA breakout?I keep an eye on these 3 "CRISPR" stocks: EDIT CRSP NTLA Now all 3 of these have sold off from highs last summer, to 52-week lows in December. The concern is the amount of debt, and no real revenue for the foreseeable future. Another concern probably has to do with that Chinese scientist who CRISPR'd a human baby. That's concerning to say the least... due to it being unethical. Regardless, the technology is very compelling in the biotech world. And this is in the news a lot. However, the volatility in these stocks are rather high, which makes it great to trade if the conditions are correct. I missed publishing a trade on CRSP.... recently bought around $30 and sold around $36 for a cute 20% gain in about a week. That was my first trade in quite a long time. I had some personal things going on which distracted me from the markets, which is why I haven't posted lately. I guess the timing of things were good, because I managed to sidestep a big DOWNTURN in the markets (see Dec 2018). A thing of note... keep an eye on high-yeld debt (junk bonds - JNK, HYG) and SRLN (Leveraged loan ETF) to have a sense on risk on/risk off. Don't forget, we are in a interest rate INCREASING environment. It takes about 12-18 months for interest rate hikes to take effect and those hikes really started about 18 months ago (went from 1.25% June 15, 2017 to 2.50% today)... a doubling of rates which isn't insignificant. If you have gains, take them as I don't believe this is a simple v-shaped recovery. As for NTLA, opening a SMALL position here, hoping for a breakout above recent highs. Let's say from approx $15 to $16.50 which would be a 10% gain. A 20% gain would be $18, but that's a stretch. Stop set at 10% ($13.50). Stay safe out there and book gains. Longby DennyPUpdated 1
NTLA watch breakoutNTLA looks ready for price discovery with targets of 55$ and 125$ Strong base has formed at the 24$ level and it has shaken out people who wanted to see a head and shoulders top. This looks more like accumulation than distribution to me. The quarterly has 7 higher lows and is a cup and handle. Bought the base at 25$ and looking to add on confirmation around 32-33$Longby koryuPublished 4
NTLA Price Boom- Is It Coming to an END???For anyone who has been holding this for months congrats you have made some great profits in this stock. As you can see there is a Head and Shoulders pattern forming, and for all those TA's out there you know it spells a potential reversal. Biotechs as a whole have enjoyed a nice boost in price mainly due to significant breakthroughs in science as well as all other sectors under-performing. Now that $DJI is getting it footing back at 50MA I believe the spotlight will dim in the coming months for biotechs. So for me I am going to ring the register, and see where the sector goes.Shortby hesswg48Updated 331
Intellia explosive move aheadThe price was hammered down instantly five times now after it tried to overcome the old high (green line). Still it constantly made higher lows and the dips below EMA20 got shallower. When the green line is taken for good, a lot of built up pressure may lead to a rapid bull-run.Longby ligandPublished 1

SHORT NTLA....taking a well deserved breakI am long for this stock. For right now this is an easy money grab with a low probability of failure. Shorting before $15.30 leads to the best probability of success. I intend to close this position before earnings are released.Shortby hesswg48Updated 5
NTLA establishing new support ~16.25?NTLA rejected off the 17 level and retested high 15s as expected but looks like it's establishing a new support level around 16.25...If so, a couple hundred of my shares will be called away next Friday at 15.78 avg. so I'm waiting for next nice red opportunity to sell more 15 puts on this to keep reducing avg. cost. While I'm long CRSPR stocks (NTLA, EDIT & CRSP), I'm concerned about NTLA's recent filing suggesting they may issue secondary so will just keep selling puts & calls to avg. down until it falls < 12 again which is when I'll plan to load up near my full desired position amount. If you're looking for first entry, sell the 15 puts and collect cash til you get assigned shares:)Longby heidibPublished 5
NTLA sitting at 17.28 resistance, will it break thru or to 15s?NTLA has been flying through resistance levels from oversold conditions and looks like it's testing 17.28 resistance to establish it as support. If it closes above, likely going higher - if it rejects off of 17.28 then likely retest of high 15s before re-testing 17s. Apart from ongoing patent battles, this company was hit by a scientific paper that made unfounded claims against their gene editing tech CRSPR, which prompted a panic sell. Yet another paper discrediting the previous negative article was released today, which explains the ~6% jump. This is a super undervalued company with no debt. Either way, I sold some calls against part of my holding since they filed forms which suggest they may be planning a secondary. Waiting for a nice red day to sell more puts. Buy and hold long with co-CRSPR-patent holders EDIT & CRSP.Longby heidibPublished 4
