PCAR Open GapsI've been watching this thing through the tank, PCAR has always filled open gaps before, and there's a bunch of them now. I don't expect earnings to be that great, so hopefully they all fill before then. ANyways, it's back to my favorite play. I've made so much money off this stock, I was willing to jump in a bit late and take the risk. I'm up, but not a lot of cushion so hopefully it gets that first gap in the next couple of days. Really hard to trade with a job, lol.

Strength on PCAR stock Paccar Inc. stock looks strong. We can see that since October 2024, the largest volume occurred after publishing earnings reports or on ex-dividend dates. Please note that: - All bars on those days are down with the closing price in the middle of the bar which in Volume Spread Analysis (VSA) indicates strength. - The volume on the October 22nd 2024 daily bar is the largest till now and the current price is above it. - All professional activity after October 2024 is happening around the buying zone created during the October 22nd bar (blue rectangle $104.38 - $104.91). - Recent buying (February 12th) breaks the previous low ($102.64) and recovers above that level which is a Wyckoff's Spring. This all is very bullish. Still, the last testing showed the presence of supply. If professionals can absorb the supply, we may expect a rally towards $116.01 - $117.83 with potential resistance in the $112.18 - $114.73 zone. Otherwise, another leg down to $100.01 for more buying is possible.

Dowsing pic PCAR short @ $88Periodically, I let my pendulum choose a random ticker from pages and pages of tickers. Most of the time they're obscure companies, and this is another one I've never heard of. However, what a run! Apparently, they make trucks or something. I really don't care. What I do care about is their options are decent! The scenario I'm getting is we take another stab at highs and go up into Friday (along with indexes). Then, something happens... It must be news or a catalyst because 3 times now, on different days, (including today) I get the option of "extreme selling" for this thing. (I do have possible major selling in indexes Fri/Mon). It's not often I get the option for extreme selling, so it really gets my attention. I've had dowsing choose tickers that didn't do jack for almost a month before the good moves, so I have asked for a time frame, but I'm not sure I'll be correct. So because I think indexes are up this week, and dowsing says this is going up to almost $89, you could even play it long. But the bigger idea is to short this thing to a target of $75. When/if we get around there I'll do an update because this may be a great buying opportunity as this has been super strong.

$PCAR On watch for U&RNASDAQ:PCAR Beat Earrings and revenue and has been building a base for about 4 months now. I have this on my watchlist for an Undercut and Rally trade. All TBD. PACCAR (PCAR) reported earnings of $2.34 per share on revenue of $8.70 billion for the third quarter ended September 2023. The consensus earnings estimate was $2.07 per share on revenue of $7.99 billion. The Earnings Whisper number was $2.18 per share. The company beat expectations by 7.34% while revenue grew 23.20% on a year-over-year basis. PACCAR Inc designs, manufactures and distributes light, medium and heavy duty trucks and related aftermarket parts.

PCAR UpdateLooks like the post earnings pump is over, kicking myself a little or not having the balls to hold Monday, lol. Anyways, looks to me like it's gonna continue this rangebound trading then eventually fill that gap above. Daily direction will more than likely be the same as the market from here. I'll continue to trade this stock on days when I expect the market to move up, because a rangebound stock is much safer than trying to catch a knife. Probably not trading until Fed day though

PCAR Oct 2018The last time PCAR went down in October was 2018, which also happens to be when the Fed raised rates pre-COVID. It gapped down on earnings, despite good numbers. Earnings transcript: www.fool.com So maybe PCAR isn't a good earnings play. I'm still gonna go with it but not add any more Monday. One thing to note is that the market gapped down that day and candlesticks looks the same for CBOE:SPX and PCAR, so it could be that the market ignored earnings and just traded the stock like normal. PCAR Gap Fill Before EarningsBought PCAR toady on that second dip today, I was kicking myself yesterday for no going long at open. Anyways, based on yesterday's action, I'm convinced it wants a gap fill before earnings. It may even retest the top. First, it's gotta get over that resistance at $87, hopefully the market gaps up tomorrow for Ponzi 401k paypday Friday. If you trade PCAR, you may want to follow my ES1! posts, I mention it quite frequently, but don't always post plots.

PCAR UpdateWell, I dumped this yesterday morning because it popped a buck, and made some decent money. Decided to plot this to see where it's headed. Based on losing the 50DMA and the price action this morning, one has to assume the action after earnings is a bear flag. So I plotted the bear flag and target zone. Old resistance is usually new support, and this stock tends to fill open gaps. There are now 2 open gaps above, but I think it'll be a while before they fill. Still on my watch list but not trading it for now.
