Bright future?Hi traders, this is my take on CSIQ, I have no knowledge about fundamentals on this one, at all... Always do your own DD . Solar is a hot sector, literally.. There has been massive movements, but will they continue? The trend is strong, and we surely will move more towards sustainable energy, but has the sector overheated and is ready for a retracement? I don't think so, not yet. I've drawn some rough estimates of how I believe future movements could be heading. I'm pretty bullish, but that is because the seem to be very strong support always when we near the first fib. retracement level. Hope this can help whether to set up a play on this one or not. Have a good day.by nDam0

Canadian Solar 12/31 strangle ideaCSIQ has made big moves the past week. I'm bullish, but wanted to trade CSIQ with put insurance. So I'm playing the 12/31 $50-55 strangle: buy $50 put = $1.20 Delta = .32, Theta = .11 buy $55 call = $1.20 Delta = .34, Theta = .12 Do your own due diligence, your risk is 100% your responsibility. $CSIQ - one more wave to break-out the upward channelToday's massive pump is the repetition of Oct 20 followed by dump and further consolidation. By the date of inauguration we will break-out. There will be one more opportunity ahead to get on the trend. However, it breaks it before that, it's a buy. Any comments are welcome. This is for discussion purpose. I had this stock previously and decided to prioritized other ideas. So, most probably I'm biased in this analysis. Longby game_trader1
Wedge formation?Quite new to the stock market and learning a lot of new things here! I think CSIQ is a great stock for the long term and I believe the company will be doing very well in the future. I was just looking at the chart and noticed what was looking like a nice upward wedge formation. Do you think it will fall at the end of the wedge or will it rise? Shortby Bartesque0
More bubble discussionEventually the EV bubble has to burst, but it's looking to me like we might not reach peak bubble until June. Zero interest rates and what not... CSIQ chart from the 2007 bubble. Funny thing is that I was looking for a dot com bubble and FSLR is the only one that survived, lol. by hungry_hippo2
