ANIC Fundraise UpdateAn updated valuation of 55 million added to 62 and 82 million (assuming uptake) of fund raising brings ANIC's valuation up to £200 million **before** they have invested the cash. Bringing the P/B (market cap vs NAV) ratio down from 5.5 to less than 1.
For reference hype outliers like Tesla have peaked at a P/B of over 66.

$ANIC: speculating the regulatory approval of cell based seafoodThis week the USDA awarded a $10m grant to TUFTS university to accelerate cell based meat through establishing the National Institute for Cellular Agriculture. My suspicion is that the FDA will allow the commercialization of cell-based seafood on the market at the end of the year.
$ANIC looks poised to go for another runMy expectations of $ANIC are high.
Reasoning:
- With the small market cap there is a lot of upside potential.
- Investments in the field of cellular agriculture are growing exponentially.
- $ANIC is the only way to invest in this field as a retail investor.
- Cultivated products and materials play into the needs of consumers in regards to sustainability, health and animal welfare.
- First products of Bluenalu will appear on the market soon. It's also not going to take long until you can buy other cultivated products.
- IPO of LiveKindly coming up.
- Large cost reductions means griddle parity is coming up (following Moo's law)
- FBS, the biggest bottleneck, is being solved.
$ANIC long term visionWinston Churchill: "We shall escape the absurdity of growing a whole chicken in order to eat the breast or wing, by growing these parts separately under a suitable medium."
We're at the start of a monumental shift in agriculture. Meat/dairy/eggs no longer have to come from animals. They will be cultivated in the lab. Cultivated meat can soon be found in grocery stores. Without slaughtering animals, consumers can have synthetic meat/dairy/eggs completely identical to the traditional products. Agronomics is a first mover in this space which invests in alternative proteins. My take on this is that cultivated cells can eradicate traditional animal agriculture. Instead of growing a whole chicken just to eat the wings, you can just grow the part you like.
