BUD pulls back to $61MODs have suggested that I provide more detail about the picks I make. Sorry. I'm not as verbose as y'all, and I don't like things to be complicated. My trading system is very simple. I buy or sell at top & bottom of parallel channels. I confirm when price hits Fibonacci levels. Bonus if a TTM Squeeze in in play. I hold until target is reached or end of year, when I can book a loss. So... Here's why I'm picking this symbol to do the thing. Price at top channel Stochastic Momentum Index (SMI) at overbought level TTM Squeeze just turned off TTM Squeeze momentum is at very high level Price at Fibonacci level In at $63.50 Downside target is $61Shortby chancethepugUpdated 0
Our opinion on the current state of AB-INBEV(ANH)Anheuser-Busch, or AB-InBev (ANH), is the world's largest brewer of beer, operating in both first-world countries and emerging markets. ANH trades on the JSE as ANH, the Brussels Stock Exchange as ABI, and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as BUD. The company announced its intention to list its Asia-Pacific arm on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to raise approximately $10 billion, with the cash aimed at reducing its debt. The company has well-known brands like Budweiser, Stella Artois, Castle, Becks, and Corona. After acquiring SA Breweries, AB InBev became four times the size of the world's next largest brewer, Heineken, leaving limited potential for further meaningful acquisitions. Growth from here on must be organic. Due to its American exposure, the company reports quarterly. In its results for the six months to 30th June 2024, the company reported revenue up 2.7% and underlying earnings per share (EPS) of 90c (US) compared with 72c in the previous period. Headline earnings per share (HEPS) rose to 133c from 100c. The company stated, "Volume growth in our Middle Americas, South America, Europe, and Africa regions was primarily offset by performance in China and Argentina, resulting in an overall volume decline of 0.8%." From a private investor's perspective, this is a massive international blue-chip share, which is also a good rand-hedge. At current levels, it is trading on a P:E of 20.53, which still looks fairly fully priced to us. Technically, the share was in a downward trend from when it listed on the JSE, and we recommended waiting until it broke up through its long-term downward trendline. That happened on 4th November 2022 at 94065c. It has since moved up to 110639c.by PDSnetSAPublished 0

BUD Anheuser-Busch InBev Options Ahead of EarningsIf you haven`t sold BUD after the Dylan Mulvaney scandal: Then analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of BUD Anheuser-Busch InBev prior to the earnings report this week, I would consider purchasing the 60usd strike price at the money Calls with an expiration date of 2025-1-17, for a premium of approximately $5.50. If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them. Longby TopgOptionsUpdated 2
Our opinion on the current state of AB-INBEV(ANH)Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world's largest brewer, operates in both developed and emerging markets. Listed on the JSE as ANH, the Brussels Stock Exchange as ABI, and the NYSE as BUD, AB InBev announced its intention to list its Asia-Pacific arm on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to raise around $10 billion, with proceeds aimed at reducing debt. The company holds notable beer brands such as Budweiser, Stella Artois, Castle, Beck's, and Corona. Following its acquisition of SABMiller, AB InBev is four times larger than its closest competitor, Heineken, leaving limited room for significant acquisitions and requiring the company to focus on organic growth. For the year ending December 31, 2023, AB InBev reported a 7.8% increase in revenue and earnings per share (EPS) of 305 cents (USD) compared to 303 cents in the prior year. The company noted that in the fourth quarter, normalized EBITDA grew by 6.2% to $4.877 billion, and the EBITDA margin contracted by 2 basis points to 33.7%. For the full year 2023, normalized EBITDA rose by 7% to $19.976 billion, with an EBITDA margin contraction of 23 basis points to 33.6%. In its first quarter update, AB InBev saw revenue increase by 2.6%, with a slight volume decline of 0.6%. The company reported a 5.4% increase in EBITDA with margin expansion and a 16% growth in underlying EPS. From a private investor's viewpoint, AB InBev remains a massive international blue-chip stock with strong rand-hedge characteristics. With a current P/E ratio of 21.88, the stock appears fully priced. Technically, it had been in a downtrend since listing on the JSE, but a break above the long-term downward trendline occurred on November 4, 2022, at 94,065 cents. Since then, the share price has risen to 117,900 cents.by PDSnetSAPublished 1
Anheuser-Busch ($BUD) Reports Better-Than-Expected Sales In Q1Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE:BUD) reported Q1 CY2024 results that exceeded analysts' expectations, with revenue up 2.3% year on year to $14.55 billion. The company made a GAAP profit of $0.54 per share, down from its $0.81 per share in the same quarter last year. Brand strength, marketing strategies, and shifts in consumer preferences influence the company's performance. Companies that invest in innovation to meet consumers where they are can reap huge demand benefits, while those who ignore trends can see stagnant volumes. Anheuser-Busch ( NYSE:BUD ) is one of the most widely recognized consumer staples companies in the world, giving it extremely high negotiating leverage with distributors. Its annualized revenue growth rate of 7.4% over the last three years was decent despite selling a similar number of units each year. This quarter, Anheuser-Busch ( NYSE:BUD ) reported decent year-on-year revenue growth of 2.3%, and its $14.55 billion in revenue topped Wall Street's estimates by 1.3%. Generative AI is expected to have a huge impact on how large corporations do business. While Nvidia and AMD are trading close to all-time highs, we prefer a lesser-known but still profitable semiconductor stock benefitting from the rise of AI. Volume growth can be broken down into changes in price and volume (the number of units sold). Volume is the lifeblood of a successful staples business as there’s a ceiling to what consumers will pay for everyday goods; they can always trade down to non-branded products if the branded versions are too expensive. To analyze whether Anheuser-Busch ( NYSE:BUD ) generated its growth from changes in price or volume, we can compare its volume growth to its organic revenue growth, which excludes non-fundamental impacts on company financials like mergers and currency fluctuations. In Anheuser-Busch's Q1 2024, year-on-year sales volumes were flat, which was more or less in line with the same quarter last year. Key takeaways from Anheuser-Busch's Q1 Results include beating analysts' adjusted EBITDA and EPS expectations this quarter, and its revenue outperforming Wall Street's estimates. The stock is up 4.7% after reporting and currently trades at $63.42 per share.Longby DEXWireNewsPublished 5

$JSEANH - AB InBev: Looking Very Bullish With Strong MomentumSee link below for previous analysis. ANH has traded as previously forecasted and looks set to continue its bull run. I am looking at the current advance as being part of an extending wave 3. Wave 2 was a zig zag pattern with a very small wave ((c)) which is typical of a market that wants to rally and the bulls quicky take initiative. I am seeing a similar picture as the correction from 121760 to 113848 was very small, pulling back only 6.5% in price and making only a 38,2% Fibonacci retracement. I am raising the invalidation level to 113848 as a break below this level would mean wave ((ii)) is still unfolding. As per this outlook, the stock is now in wave (iii) of ((iii)) which can be a very powerful move and volume seems to be supportive of this view. Longby Loyiso_BlaqueSoros_MpetaPublished 0

ANH Rings The Bell, Yearly Decline BeginsANH recent price action had price going below 12 June 2023 price, this represent a failed weekly cycle signalling that price is ready to decline into a yearly low price. We see price being rejected at the upper resistance. It is important to note that we have a pennant that is near resolution, it can break either way, if to the upside this can give short sellers a higher point of entry. The expectation is that price will visit the lower pink support line, if we follow timing of previous cycle, we can find a bottom in Feb/March 2024.Shortby runyamhereUpdated 0
Go woke go broke? - Anheuser Busch From a technical perspective, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) presents an attractive opportunity due to a substantial drawdown of over 20% since April, attributed to a perceived shift toward 'wokeness.' This phenomenon, commonly expressed as "go woke go broke," often reflects boycotts against companies embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion, or, in AB InBev's case, partnering with transgender influencers. However, this negative sentiment has potentially led to AB InBev being undervalued. The uniqueness of this situation lies in AB InBev's diverse brand portfolio. Many of its brands are not immediately associated with the company, and while certain recognizable ones may face boycotts, the other brands continue to thrive. Notably, several of these brands hold higher market values than the more affordable ones that have been boycotted, which suggests that this strategic diversity could benefit the company. Additionally, as the outrage associated with 'wokeness' appears to be subsiding, AB InBev may find itself in a more favorable market position. Furthermore, in times of economic uncertainty or conflict, consumer demand for alcoholic beverages typically increases, and AB InBev's comprehensive product range positions it well to meet this potential surge in demand. $JSEANH - AB InBev: Still Dipping, But Still BullishSee link below for previous analysis. The dip of the previous analysis proved to be first leg of a three wave pullback. I am looking at the retracement from 123201 as unfolding in a zig zag pattern. It looks as if the pattern is now in its third wave. It is a bit early to look for buy opportunities but I will monitor this pattern closely. The bigger structure, starting with the wave 1 rally from 80472 to 123201, is still bullish and will only be invalidated by a break below 80472 so I am more focused on long opportunities. by Loyiso_BlaqueSoros_MpetaPublished 2
Thoughts on BUD price action possibilitiesTA, I think, should be reactive, not predictive, but occasionally it's fun to predict - so here goes: - I could see this H&S (pink) inside a H&S (purple) playing out. or at least it's a possibility - The only real pattern here is a triangle, which would be a continuation pattern resulting in lower price action - I think I see some confluence with the fibs too - Volume continues to fall since the peak back in March by b6d1016fdeb149be865b678a8ac935Published 1
ANH Carving a Rising WedgeHaving found support at the 200 day moving average, price is now forming a rising wedge which we expect to break to the downside. From a cycle perspective, price is seeking a half cycle correction before moving higher towards the objective of filling the wedge.
