$QCOM - Room to run?$QCOM Honey, put the wheelchair away, because this baby has got some legs. Little suspect of any tech stock continuing to run in the current event given my notes on how i personally feel about china, the markets and economic climate. However, the gap is starting to fill back from march crash. If it can push above 85.20, I would use that as an entry point for a quick trade ensuring my limit sell is set to 87.20 and keeping a tight stop loss. I would continue to raise my stop losses if Qcom continues to rise in the short term. Checked out the earnings whispers website and notices that they expect -50% in quarterly revenue. So any long term hold on a chip stock is risky.

QCOM possible Gap Fill play Missed play breakout of resistance but the confirmation of strong demand found with current daily volume - long above resistance for a gap fill to next resistance or to volume node (86-88) level. Confirm break of resistance with volume. - confirmation of confluence area above sloping trend line and 81.90 resistance, break above both 100 and 200 moving average with volume - If it does not break current resistance immediately look for a pullback @ 82 level

$QCOM breakout... $QCOM just broke above a consolidation area it's been digesting for about 2 weeks. I started a 1/2 position at $82.05. My stop is going to be very tight at $79 since these types of breakouts are prone to failure. However, I like QCOM's story so I'm willing to take a chance here. This is a swing trade for me so I'll look to add on a push and 5% gain to a full position. After that I'll look to take 1/4 - 1/3 off at 10% gain, another at 20% and let the remainder run until there is a reason to sell. Ideas, not investing advice.
