Ecoscience International Bhd. is an investment holding company, which engages in the construction of palm oil mills, supporting facilities, and fabrication equipment. It operates through the following segments: Construction of Plants and Facilities, Fabrication of Equipment, Supply of Materials and Equipment, and Other activities. The Construction of Plants and Facilities segment includes turnkey contractors for the construction of plants and facilities such as palm oil mills and plantation, rubber plantation facilities, palm oil refineries, biodiesel, biogas and power generation plants. This also includes plant upgrade and expansion works. The Fabrication of Equipment segment provides fabrication for existing mills that require replacement or upgrading of some of the mill equipment. This also includes fabrication and supply of energy and environmental related equipment such as heat recovery equipment and non-chemical water treatment equipment. The Supply of Materials and Equipment segment refers to the delivery of construction materials and piping materials based on purchase orders. The Other Activities segment deals with supplying spare parts and providing maintenance services. The company was founded by Choi Ong Wong and Tuan Sim Tia in 2003 and is headquartered in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia.
