It operates through the following segments: Tin Smelting, Tin Mining, and Others. The Tin Smelting segment involves in the smelting of tin concentrates and bearing materials; production of various grades of refined tin metal; and sale and delivery of refined tin metal and by-products. The Tin Mining segment explores and mines tin minerals. The Others segment comprises of investments in other metal and mineral resources. The company was founded in 1902 and is headquartered in Pulau Indah, Malaysia.
