Protasco Bhd. is an investment holding company, which engages in the provision of infrastructure development and engineering solutions. It operates through the following segments: Maintenance, Construction, Property Development, Engineering and Consultancy Services, Trading and Manufacturing, Education, Clean Energy, Hotel and Hospitality, Asset Management, Agriventure, and Others. The Maintenance segment refers to federal and state roads. The Construction segment focuses on buildings and other infrastructures. The Property Development segment develops commercial and residential properties. The Engineering and Consultancy Services segment offers a full spectrum of civil engineering work and related services. The Trading and Manufacturing segment trades and manufactures construction materials. The Education segment provides tertiary education. The Clean Energy segment is involved in solar panel installation contract works and supply of power and electricity derived from solar power plant. The Hotel and Hospitality segment manages the operation of hotels. The Asset Management segment consists of rental of premises and the provision of property management services. The Agriventure segment processing and trading of fruits and related products. The Others segment includes the business segment mainly represents investment holding and management services activities. The company was founded by Hasnur Rabiain bin Ismail and Ket Pen Chong in 1991 and is headquartered in Kajang, Malaysia.
