Sapura Industrial Bhd. is an investment holding company, which engages in the provision of management services to its subsidiaries. It operates through the following segments: Manufacturing, Investment Holding, and Others. The Manufacturing segment supplies products for the automotive, electronics, and electrical industries as well as manufactures butt-weld fittings for oil and gas industries. The Investment Holding segment includes investments and the provision of management services to subsidiaries. The Others segment focuses on trading of autoparts in retail and after sales market, providing computer aided design and manufacture of sub-systems and systems for applications in production and testing, and other dormant companies. The company was founded by Shamsuddin bin Abdul Kadir on February 21, 1974 and is headquartered in Bandar Baru Bangi, Malaysia.
