Blizzard Made the Right DecisionDespite whether you disagree with their censorship, this is the right "business" decision. Maybe it isn't ethical, but it is beneficial to maintain their relationship with China. Plus the controversy will act as publicity for the company. Oh well, as always, trade at your own risk.
$ATVI:NASDAQ - ACTIVISION - At important breakout with a gapActivision is starting to look interesting again. It has had MASSIVE success with World of Warcraft Classic and Call of Duty: Mobile seems to be gaining momentum as well. If the stock pushes through the $56.55 type mark there is a gap there to fill and the stock could continue to gain with quite a bit of upside to previous levels. Need to wait for confirmation though, but if it does push through then could certainly be worth a watch.

ATVI Bottoming DevelopmentATVI has been in a long-term rounding bottom formation. The first attempt to complete the bottom failed, but another attempt is underway. Normally, it takes 3–5 attempts to complete a bottom of this duration.
ATVI Cup and HandleATVI, is in the process of forming the handle in the cup and handle shape pattern. It is rounding up nicely where it will face resistance at $58. If it can break $58 it has room to $60 because of the previous gap in its chart.
ATVI 0.618 and daily supply combination short.As a predictable MAU decline is on the corner,
to short ATVI is something that I would pay close attention to.

ATVI Tests the breakoutActivision (ATVI) looks like it is starting a new trend higher given the year long base. As Darvas said, "If a usually inactive stock suddenly became active I would consider this unusual and if it also advanced in price I would buy it.".
ATVI has broken a triangle - investors can expect rising. As you can see the triangle was working since February 2019. Now at the of one it was broken up. The next price target according to the rules of building triangle is 55.45.

Future of Blizzard Activision 150%+ 20.9.2019 updateStill trading, target on track. In this update we are looking for the first dip, this is good time to sell off and wait dip for re-enter.
Future of Blizzard Activision 150%+All the players who left World of Warcraft will come back for World of Warcraft: Classic, which will show up in the subscription numbers in the earnings announcements.
This will also get a boost from Blizzard's mobile game Diablo Immortal, which will be most likely be released in 2019 +/- few months between the release of World of Warcraft: Classic. It will be also developed with a Chinese company NetEase, so it will get released in China. Keep an eye on NTES NetEase aswell, around that time.
Short term investment ATVIUp about 20% on this one. Holding till the night of the earnings report. The first report after the new call of duty is released, that is.
