LI 10% up; next target $37As I have been saying the past couple of weeks, after the hammer candle on the weekly chart and the close with a bullish candle last week, LI was poised to go higher. I have made good money trading the support and resistance all along as you can see from my previous charts and updates. I have accumulated a very good amount at an average price of $33.33, which would put me in a very good position if we keep rallying. That is why we buy the technicals when a stock finds support and wait patiently for these rallies. If you are not in yet, wait for a re-test of the strong $37 resistance. If LI is able to close above, you can buy and place a stop loss strategically below the $37 so you minimize your risks. Buying now would be FOMO in my opinion because there is nothing to anchor your entry against. Now to the moon! After the hammer LI closes the week with a nice bullish candleLast week LI closed with a hammer candle, which signals reversal if confirmed by the next candle. LI also closed above the resistance trendline. The candle also has more volume than the previous 4 candles, which is very bullish. Despite the loss in the afternoon today LI closed with a strong bullish candle. The candle peaked with 26% gains. There was some selling pressure but that may be related to COVID and news related to unemployment numbers and stimulus bumps. We still closed the week with 17% gains. Now we need to keep monitoring next week but this week's candle is what we wanted to see. I traded LI a few times this week for huge gains as you can see on the updates on my linked chart. I sold my shares one more time this morning when the price peaked and got back in at an average price of 34.87. I am also happy we closed the day (thus the week) above the stubborn $33-$34 resistance, reason why I bought back in. The stock found a temporary bottom at $26.68 on December 29, 2020, as part of the Double Bottom Class II Pattern. The current price is $30.99 based on the market close of January 5, 2021, 4 PM EST. Trade Idea: Still Bearish, Price Target around $36. Maybe this stock may trade between the range of $33 and $36. #2 Workhorse Group Inc (Symbol WKHS) has been trading in a narrow range since December 1, 2020. The stock retested the previous high price on December 24, 2020, but failed to penetrate that price level. Trade Idea: Too early to determine anything. #4 Arcimoto Inc (Symbol FUV) is currently at a major support price level of around $13.30 as of the market close on January 5, 2021, 4 PM EST. Trade Idea: A retest of the previous high around $18.91 is possible. #5 Nikola Corporation (Symbol NKLA) is testing the $16.03 as of the market close on January 5, 2021, at 4 PM EST. The stock found a temporary bottom at $13.77 on December 23, 2020. Trade Idea: Breakaway from the major bearish trendline, short-term target price at around $18.19 #6 NIO Inc (Symbol NIO) is currently retesting the previous high on Nov 25, 2020. Trade Idea: Pullback retest low of around $51.17, and then breakout above $53.20, still too early to determine. It may become a double top pattern too. #7 Telsa Inc (Symbol TSLA) is testing the current high price of $735.11 as of the market close on January 5, 2021, 4 PM EST. Trade Idea: Pullback retest of the bull gap on Jan 4, 2021. #8 Toyota Motor Corp ADR (Symbol TM) is currently testing the new high price level of around $153.40. Trade Idea: If the momentum stops, the stock may pull back to $145. #9 Honda Motor Co ADR (Symbol HMC) temporarily bottomed on Mar 23, 2020, at around a price of $19.92. The stock price chart just formed the inverted head and shoulders pattern. Trade Idea: Possible retest bull gap of week November 9, 2020, and then the uptrend to continue, but this is still too early to determine. #10 General Motors Co. (Symbol GM) is testing major resistance at around a price of $43. A 10.48% gain in one day is not bad! A 10.48% gain in one day is not bad! This is a follow up writing for my article published yesterday January 6, 2021, with the title "Weekly Trade Ideas for the 11 Automobile Manufacturers" In that article, I wrote, "Trade Idea: Still Bearish, Price Target around $36. Maybe this stock may trade between the range of $33 and $36." Here is the link to the article: On January 7, 2021, a bull gap today at the morning open and this stock rushed higher to $35.10 as of the market close of January 7, 2021. I do consider the price target is met today because $35.10 is not much away from the original price target of $36. Below is a link showing the stock performance on January 7, 2021, compared to my first chart interpretation on January 6, 202. New Trade Idea: Long-term prediction: Less Bearish, More Bullish for this stock. This stock price is showing signs of improvement, but the direction is still questionable. Maybe this stock may trade between the range of $33 and $38. I think it is too early to make a call for the long-term direction, but I think this stock should be on the watchlist. ABC BullishC can not be lower than A for this pattern..and as a rule, a stop goes under C. Just an observation. Entry level can be the most important part of a trade. Targets are calculated using FIB levels and the length of the AB leg. Long entry level is when price breaks the BC leg with an uptrend in place. Targets 1 are often the corresponding 0.38, 0.61 and 0.79 fib levels. In a bullish market 1, 1.27 and 1.61 can be added and are often targets 2. Good idea to take a look at volume and prior resistance levels when calculating targets Hammer on monthly and weekly time frames. A level of support at 33.5 but there are levels below and there is resistance above. Often good to look at hourly and weekly for support and resistance. Not overbought on daily as of today. The 5 MA crossed up and through the 20 MA. The 13 is trying to cross up and through the 26 MA. Large effective volume and a pocket pivot today. A pocket pivot is a price/volume pattern. Price forms a pocket pivot, when: The price goes up compared to yesterdays close. The volume today is higher than the maximum down volume of the past 10 days. Effective Volume analyses the intraday volume on the minute level to determine what small and large players are doing in terms of accumulation and distribution Not a recommendation and would think this may pull back soon despite the hammers..sometimes it beeze that way (: Good to have your target in your plan as well as where you will buy (hopefully close to support), and why you bought it..and whatever else your plan consists of. Important thing is you have a Plan and that you learn from mistakes you make a long the way (o: Only way you can know that is by reflecting on your plan in the past so you can tweak it or perhaps just leave your plan alone. I have noted I am too quick to buy something after a pull back has occurred. IE..I sold half of NEP today. I am aware that I am prone to get in too fast next time I add to my position in NEP. I have also learned I do not trade IPOs very well due to the lack of chart information available and I realize I am a pattern trader. It took me a long time to figure out what type of trader I am..lol..but these are things we need to know in order to improve. When I realized I wanted to be a pattern trader, I read as many books as possible and watched too many youTube videos (o: I have also learned it is best for me to stick to what I know and not listen to too much media like the talking heads etc.. I do need to be aware of earning dates etc. All in all, I know I need to trust myself and if I have done the best I can do to be knowledgeable in my style of trading, then I can accept my mistakes. If I have done everything I can do to avoid that mistake, then I must just accept it as a mistake. I have to realize I do not have control over every aspect of the market, no one does. Teaching yoga helps me stay focused, and at the end of every class I teach, I ask for forgiveness, but one of the hardest things for me to do, is to forgive myself )o: Working on it though! LOL

Li broke out above $33 resistanceLi found support on the 21-ema and on the third consecutive time of asking it finally broke above of the $33 resistance. As you can see from past price action, the $33-$34 zone has been a strong resistance level for quite sometime now. Stochastic and MACD look healthy and curling up and I believe LI is poised to go higher but I took some profits at this level. Hoping Li can regain its spark #stocksLi is current reversal play in the portfolio with a stop below 26. After a brief exit to the downside from the near term range (rectangle box), the stock has reversed back up into the range. I am playing for a further breakout above 35. The stock is very volatile so I am giving it room. Todays down move and anywhere between here and the 27 area are still buying opportunities as long as the reversal structure stays intact and we can get some positive rate of change.
