VCEL trade ideas
And Vericel Too. VCEL are not in the business of getting every prediction right, no one ever does and that is not the aim of the game. The Fibonacci targets are highlighted in green with invalidation in red. Fibonacci goals, it is prudent to suggest, are nothing more than mere fractally evident and therefore statistically likely levels that the market will go to. Having said that, the market will always do what it wants and always has a mind of its own. Therefore, none of this is financial advice, so do your own research and rely only on your own analysis. Trading is a true one man sport. Good luck out there and stay safe!
Waiting for a pullback to enter LONGReasons to Enter Long:
This stock is in a nice strong uptrend.
The stock just made a new 52 weeks high.
It just broke a nice resistance.
Waiting for the stock to pullback around 26.15 to enter Long.
Traders/Investors are probably going to get some profits tomorrow or the day ahead and that will create a little pullback ( that's what I want).
Every time a stock makes a nice breakout on the upside or downside, the stock pull back right after ( not all the time but the majority of the time).
Possible scenarios:
The stock continue on the upside without any huge pullback ( we leave it there, no entry).
The stock pullback at our entry price which is 26.15 ( we enter there as a Long).
My target is 30.58 ( 2:1 risk ratio)
There is no major resistance until 35.22
Bullish move expected after consolidation? The Bollinger lower band was penetrated
Strong bullish engulfing candle showing strong buy intention
Sideways movement showing consolidation
Support levels tested (one at close and one at daily low, see green parallel lines)
Expected some resistance from Bollinger monthly middle band and daily resistance trend line (red line)
VCEL Brokeout? Can see that NASDAQ:VCEL finally managed to breakout from its consolidation phrase of 16.00 to 18.80 since November 2018. With ideal breakout price action that we have seen on 14 February, ideal candlestick pattern yesterday and momentum indicators intact, we can look forward to a target price of 22.00, where some long positions covering might take place again.
VCEL bull flag breakoutHuge bullish breakout of the bull flag setup on VCEL today. Earnings on the 6th led to a huge surge in buying. Then for the last 12 sessions or so we've seen an equal amount of buyers and sellers which has kept the price in this tight bull flag channel. Today it looks like the last of the profit takers have gone and the buyers took charge of the price action once again. This is a clear earnings continuation play that should definitely be on your radar!
VCEL monthly breakoutThis is an update to my previous analysis on VCEL. I took profits at 7.70 and plan on re-entering this coming week.
A word of caution - last week shows signs of some probability for failure. This long deserves some caution IMO. A tighter stop may make sense for some, or simply a reduced amount of risk on this trade. Remember the market cap is extremely low so this could pop in either direction very quickly.
$VCEL #Breakout going #parabolic soon #longSo VCEL has hit a new high and is breaking out of a multi-year bottom. Remember the rule! the bigger the base the higher the space. Not since 2014 has this stock came this close to breaking the $7.00 mark. The difference between that pop and this one is the OBV! Someone(s) are buying a lot of this stock. I will take a guess at a profit target...maybe $17-21, but that is just a guess. Who knows.

Another biotech that looks promising: VCELTaking small long position. Will add if break up and close above horizontal resistance line and the long term down trend line. My personal stop is a close < 5.45 (dashed horizontal line on the daily). Process your way.

Interpret discreetly Here is a situation that the literature say: that do not buy at resistance apart of that I do not use a mechanical system for determine the direction of the market or for picking stocks I use moving averages but I interpret they based in my discretion and now I can appreciate a trending price and if I watch back in the time in march 2016 and more recently in October 2017 the two past attempts of the price for overcome the 6.00 level they had more to do with a volatility environment that with the intention that price start to show some recognized behavior for this reason when I look that the moving averages are becoming more spacing and have some inclination plus a new succession of higher lows immediately my bias become bullish.
But my ideas are always about a breakout resistance and in this case this has not happened yet but this is how it happens because I've seen it in the past and then now I assume that this time it's going to happen based in my discretion and this is the difference between a mechanical system.
By the way look the volume spikes back in the time in 2016 and 2017 I interpret like a managers with high fundamentals bought large numbers of this stock and they hold for years and now the price are reacting.
That is all
