WGMI is an actively managed fund that invests in companies that derive 50% of their income from mining bitcoin, providing specialized chips, hardware and software or other services to companies in the bitcoin mining industry. This fund will not invest, directly or indirectly, in physical bitcoin or bitcoin future contracts. Equity securities included in the fund are common stocks and ADRs listed in global exchanges, which can be USD or non-USD denominated. In selecting eligible companies, the adviser evaluates companies individually and chooses those they believe are well positioned to succeed and provide the best opportunity for capital appreciation. The adviser also considers ESG factors, which tilts the portfolio to those that have sustainable business models and use renewable energy in bitcoin mining operations. The fund is non-diversified and may invest significantly in a specific industry. Effective Oct. 31, 2024, due to an acquisition, WGMI incorporated ‘CoinShares’ in its name.
