Currently CLOSE has broken the resistance line at $1.98 with a full body candlestick. This means that NEAR is in a strong buying position. Potential purchases can be in the area of $ 2.01 with a stop loss at $ 1.97 and a potential loss from the entry point to the stop loss of 1.76%. The potential target for an increase is 6.88% at HKEX:2 ,144

NEARUSD Attempting the first 1D MA200 test in 9 months!The Near Protocol (NEARUSD) is at the closest it has been to the 1D MA200 (orange trend-line) in more than 9 months as there hasn't been any contact since May 05 2022. Even in the event of contact or even marginal break-out, it is not the time to celebrate as within the Bear Cycle's Channel Down (since January 14 2022), there have been another two similar occasions that both started on a Higher Lows bottom but failed to break above the Resistance Zone formed by the previous Lower High of the bearish leg. That is currently a little below the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement level. In order to extend our buying, we need to see a break above the top (Lower Highs trend-line) of the Channel Down, in which case we expect the price to fill the upper Fibonacci levels one by one. Near protocol to keep going down for the sort termGiven the bear market I expect the price of NEAR to keep going down before a rally. As I see NEAR as a long term investment I will start to DCA DCA 1: $4.87 (25%) DCA 2: $4.50 (50%) And a final hail marry at $1.62 (25%). The bottom target is unlikely to happen, but it is the next level of resistance, (but we have to go far in the past to see it). I do expect a rally eventually to take us back above $6 regardless of the targets we reach.
