The fund aims to maximize yield on cash balances, while providing access to investments with daily liquidity. In achieving this goal, the fund manager invests all its assets in high interest savings accounts at Schedule 1 Canadian banks offering pre-negotiated interest rates. Schedule I banks are wholly domestic financial institutions in Canada regulated by the Federal Bank Act. It is comprised of 36 domestic banks, including the country's big six banks, such as BMO, Scotiabank, CIBC, National Bank of Canada, RBC, and Toronto Dominion Bank.
