EVC EVC might be ready to run.. The highlighted zone is a support/resistance zone. The furthest yellow circle shows it was retesting then dropped which made it resistance, but the second yellow circle shows it is now support as it closed above and dropped to the highlighted zone, which has been led by 2 bullish engulfing candles on the hourly. EVC trade ideas
EVC Long Trade SetupEVC has been trending beautifully for all of 2021. The stock is stair-stepping higher with a succession of higher highs and higher lows.
The numbers are incredibly strong with this one as well. Relative strength is in the 98th percentile, and sales and earnings have both been growing at triple-digit rates for the last 3 quarters.
The recent price compression gives traders a low-risk entry point from which to buy EVC. I would look to buy on a breakout above this range.
Entry: $7.73
Stop: $7.05
EVC Buulish AFProbably one of the best charts I have seen this year. The most recent daily candle took out two fibonacci levels and closed over the .5 fib level. In addition the MACD is curling up and should cross soon.
I think this will see some resistance at $7.40 and then continue to $7.81
targeting: $8.26, $9.54 by end of year.
EVC - great long term investment getting ready for a breakoutI initially purchased this stock at ~$3.50 and set some price targets to keep myself honest about its performance. The stock has hit all of them and keeps on moving up. They recently reported some great numbers that reflects some longer term potential which got me excited. So I decided to set another buy-in targeted for $5.87, which I recently filled.
We're now at one of my price targets, which is always accompanied with some resistance. But after it passes this resistance (at $6.89), we should be ready to hit the next targets at $7.64 and $8.98.
Possibly entry point is anything above $6.89.
Entravision in search of channel topAfter a bullish trendline break on Thursday, Entravision is headed upward to find its channel top. I'm a little uncertain where the channel will top out. I suspect we'll stay in the green zone and top out around 3.20, but we could get into the yellow (~3.30) or red (~3.35) zones as well. Buy close to the blue upward trendline and keep your stop orders just below the line.
Entravision just won 10 Emmys for its news team, has great analyst ratings, and beat estimates on its most recent earnings report.

I was asked my opinion on Entravision. You may have noticed I switched from Candlesticks to Line chart format for this one; I think in this instance it gives this particular Stock chart an easier read. The up front answer is--don't touch it for now; unless you are experienced with various spread strategies, in that case it may work for you. For now I can't see it being bullish or bearish. I think it's in limbo. I looked at this with a few different secondary indicators; I used the Exponential Moving Averages (EMA), Stochastics, and MACD Histograms--none of them showed me anything definitive so I left this chart with just horizontal lines. One possibility is this Stock is starting to roll or consolidate. If that is the case it is in the middle of its roll and shouldn't be touched until you can see its support and resistance. This is the only strategy I can currently think of, and the lines I drew were based off that strategy. EMA won't really help when it comes to a rolling Stock so if you are interested in this particular one I'd leave those off. Stochastics and MACD can be of assistance; but when I viewed them with the settings I was originally taught they both showed neutral.
If you are wondering if this is a good buy and hold, that's up to you. I don't see it being terribly bearish; but the downside to being neutral is it isn't incredibly bullish either. It's dividend dropped from $.31 in the second quarter of 2017 to $.05 in the third and fourth quarter of 2017. I haven't done research into why, you can do that on your own if you want. Historically, it's first quarter dividend announcement hasn't been released until late February or mid March so it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to wait and see if they will release a dividend, and if so how much, before making a decision (whether yay or nay) about buying Extravision to hold.
