Channel trade aheadEven though we are kind of in the middle of that channel, you should either keep an eye on it, or wait for two more candles to give an unambiguously signal to be sure the downtrend continues. Shortby Evan_Moe_MoneyUpdated 3
Should you buy Lending Club NowI honestly think that you shouldn't invest in lending club right now. At this moment you cannot hold lending club for swing, short, or long. Long is automatically out because The stock has only been going down. For swing and short this stock has a very low volatility rate. This price is way too high. The only time I would invest in it is when it goes into the 5.20's. This stock is also lacking a high rsi. If one bad news comes the stock can fall a lot. The Adx is slowly increasing. This loss for lending club may become a trend very soon. Also the MACD bars are down by almost 0.3. This is a very high price right now. Reading the news about Lending Club there isn't really much more coming for the stock. I would wait and buy this stock when it comes at a lower price. Don't buy this stock right now.Shortby Pranjal1349
LC (Lending Club) Going down?Lending Club has dived for a long time. From the long term trend, I don't think it will start recovering right now. So I am more inclined to predict a fall in price. My prediction is at odds with two analysts from tipranks.com, who recommend a buy (while three others issued a hold recommendation).Shortby NickFi4
Semi-Symmetrical Triangle?Indicators all show it's overbought. Possible retraction down to $5.40-ish and then breakout in July? Feedback appreciated.Longby cderleth845
Channel surfer...RADLC is another gopher burner. Laid low and a possible turn around story I have been keeping an eye on. Goldman is supposedly rolling out there own version of "crowd lending" to crush this upstart. LC has missed out on the financials rally and I would much rather buy it at 4 than 5.5 but if you believe the economy is going to continue to improve and interest rates are going up then I would say the risk/reward for this name could be good. Premium in the options is miniscule and the market maker move is +/- $1.60 all the way out to January 18. Earnings are on May 8 and may provide a down move in order to sell puts and initiate a position. Also wanted to try to duplicate the ATR trader study I used to like to look at to help me determine different levels.Longby dluxe23Updated 3
LendingClub price after earnings announcement. In the previous two quarters LC stock price surged up after earnings announcement. People were surprise...? Now, hoping to meet a similar trend, people already purchase LC stocks before release of earning. Many people are ready to sell. Even if income is better than expected stock will not go too high, otherwise it will have a bigger drop.Shortby zhengster2
$LC nice momentum. Chances are a breakout is coming for this one. Goldman kicked the tires on this one a while back. Longby edumas2Updated 2
Lending Club is on StockSpotify"s Stock to own for 2017LC has been in a sideways mode most of January, trading in the $5.40-$5.90 area. We issued a buy alert at $5.40-$5.00 lever earlier and are looking to add once the next breakout happens. We very well could be getting that breakout in the next few days. If this New America mindset does indeed get legs and we think it will, it only bodes well for borrowers of loans and investors alike. We look for a break of $6.00 and a quick trip to $6.40 afterward. We have seen some money flow into the call options in size. LC has plenty of volume allowing one to trade this name in size. TRADE IDEA: LC COVERED CALLMetrics: Buy 100 shares at 5.41 Sell Oct 21st 5.5 call Whole Package: 4.93 db (4.93/share's your break even/cost basis) Max Profit: $57 (if called away at 5.5) ROC: 11.6% Notes: I've looked at this underlying several times over the past several weeks, as it keeps popping up on my high implied volatility screens. The good thing about the setup: the short call strike is near to current price, so price needn't move much to finish above 5.50 at expiration. The bad thing about the setup: lows are around $4/share, so it could cave into the poo pile its longer-term charts make it look like -- a post-downhill slide from its initial public offering price of >$25 per share, although support is ZigZag indicated at about 5.15.by NaughtyPines3

NEXT WEEK'S EARNINGS TO WATCH: LC, VRX, M, JWN, NVDAWith broad market volatility ebbing, the place to sell premium is with earnings plays for now. Next week, look to put on options plays shortly before the earnings announcement to capitalize on post-announcement volatility contraction. This little fellahs currently look best for plays: LC: 5/9 (Monday) after market close. Due to the price of the underlying, short straddle it, if anything. Neither a short strangle or iron condor will be productive unless you go with a larger number of contracts. VRX: 5/11 (Wednesday). I don't show it as before or after market right now. M: 5/11 (Wednesday) before market open. JWN: 5/12 (Thursday) after market close. NVDA: 5/12 (Thursday) after market close. I also looked at a couple of others, but decided that they were problematic for one reason or another: TEVA ... is scheduled to announce on Monday, is an ADR. I'm not a huge fan of ADR's, since they're basically free to tentatively schedule an earnings announcement and then move it back a week or two. For a volatility contraction play, which I want to put on immediately before the announcement, this does me no good ... . Moreover, the spreads are wide on the options; if they're wide going in, they're going to be wide trying to get out ... . SCTY ... will announce on 5/9 after close. I would love to play this little fellow, as it's plenty full of premium given its relatively modest price. That being said, it's another "spread wide" situation ... . AGN ... announces on 5/10 before market open. You would think an underlying that trades 4.9 million shares on a daily basis would have fairly decent spreads on their options. Nunh-unh ... . RAX ... 5/9 after market close is the announcement. You guessed it -- illiquid options. I'll post actual setups as we get closer to earnings ... .by NaughtyPines4
LC - Bullish Wolve Wave Pattern & Analyst UpgradeWW Pattern is a very reliable chart pattern, many of my previous ideas are based on it The falling wedge is a bullish pattern that in case of breakout would lead to target along 1-4 line. More details: thepatternsite.com 3 and 4 are not very well defined, that's why I made 3' and 4' scenario. $LC received an analyst upgrade the 20th May by Morgan and Stanley that occurs right after the last exhaustion of the pattern (5). Coincidence ? You decide ;-) Longby B33tcoin3
