The Lion Electric Co. is an automotive industry company that manufactures zero-emission vehicles. It designs and creates all-electric class 5 to class 8 commercial urban trucks and all-electric buses and minibuses for the school, paratransit, and mass transit markets. The company utilizes its own electric transportation supply chain to build and assemble all of its vehicle components, including chassis, battery packs, truck cabins and bus bodies. The company stock was listed in the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in October 2020 with ticker LEV. The company was founded by Marc Bedard and Camile Chartrand in 2008 and is headquartered in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, Canada.
