Lotsa room left in this long term channel for gains...NYSE:MGM Weekly chart shown to get a better idea of the room left in the long(er) term uptrend channel following the steep drop. close up of the daily shown below. Can get in with minimal risk by playing Aug 16th options, I personally find the Aug 16th C31 at .44 appealing. Will be initiating position in the am. Reasons why are pretty self explanatory on the chart, seeing as resistance has been broken and underlying strength being shown in the RSI. I think this is a buy, so I'm rolling the dice and going all in this casino! (But not REALLY all in lol) Happy hunting!!
MGM trade ideas
$MGM Chart is setting up bullish in MGM, may pullback a little. When scanning for a investment, many factors come into play, two of which are unusual options action and insider buying, both are very significant tells as to the direction in which the stock is going, that is why MGM looks very interesting at this level. Directors have been loading up in shares in a massive way and options traders have been making big bets a impending positive move higher. The sector as a whole has become very bullish as speculation is rampant regarding mergers and takeovers. Watch this space and expect a little pullback here for the bullish channel to form and break to the upside.

MGM Bullish gartley pattern long opportunityWhen the markets finally have some solid pull-back, there are 2 kinds of stocks that will interest me to buy:
1. Strong relative strength (like my latest MCD trade)
2. Solid buy-low set-ups
This MGM is the example of the second one.
Also, there were some interesting trading stories between me and this stock lol.
I'll be waiting for the 23.35 spot to long with about 10% stop loss.
Let's see how it goes!!
MGM long play
MGM resorts International services, Is in an upward trend
29 indicates a resistance level. However, we see that the indicators support the proposed direction, such as OBV, moving average 200, increasing volumes and the other indicators on the graph.
we can examine the possibility of entry if it breaks out 29 level after an approval candle will show up, accompanied by significant volume.
Note that MGM is expected to report earnings today after market close. Following it for a day trade and swing.
This is not a recommendation to buy or sell.
as always, feedback is more than welcome.
MGM - Bullish-neutral Iron CondorStock has sold off since Jan, and held the downtrend throughout 2018. Bearish momentum is slowing down, as if recovery is in the works (compare LVS idea); betting this bad boy experiences a slowdown, with price staying in the range or having a quick reversal of the downtrend.

MGM, a giant meeting expectations Hunting the dips in decent companies after hysteric sell-offs. That's what I'm doing in US stock markets. The other strategy that gave profits was buying into undervalued sectors with great perspective, which I don't do now, as the last sector I believed in was the IT-related (FB, AMZN, GOOG, BABA) and it was all fun and games until this year where it just doesn't show enough optimism to be considered attractive for significant annual returns. Therefore, the second strategy that rakes in profits is buying into illogical reactions of investors after the stock publishes positive news...sounds crazy, but this happens everyday.
Today, we have MGM resorts. Results came out, all in-line with expectations to the cent, and I quote: "Q1 EPS of $0.29 in-line. Revenue of $2.82B (+3.7% Y/Y) in-line." Mind you, they have resorts in China now: "MGM China kicked in with a 25% jump in revenue to $596M as the MGM Cotai contributed. Adjusted property EBITDA was $152M vs. $145M a year ago." Great news right? -8% down in single day. So, I'll hunt for cheap stocks once the resistance holds, it has few of them in this region (red lines on the chart) so the one that slows the fall and keeps it there for 2 days should be good enough for me to enter and wait for the exit at 34 level.

Now with Consumer Services IndustryThis is not the first idea that I share in the Consumer Services Industry,
what happens is that I do not listed them, as I did with the financial Industry (#1, #2, #3, etc)
I post series of ideas that correspond to a particular industry for example:
I have shared a lot of technology companies (too many technology companies)
I have shared several Basic Materials companies (Mining Companies) based in a bullish Gold-Futures
A lot of Energy Companies with the argument of Bullish Oil-Futures
even I find and shared a few Transportation Companies maybe 2 or 3
I have also shared some Health Care Companies, not many but I posted some
and I also post Capital Goods and Consumer Durable Companies.
where I'm going with this and why I'm not talking about technical analysis?
Because the stock market does not revolve around technical analysis
How the Stock Market Works is the more relevant, Correlation between industries, Interest Rates and the Stock Market,

MGM - Monthly viewMonthly view of MGM
Well I think in the long term view MGM can go to 57.80 and later on close to 92.33.
For 57.80 I am more confident because it's the high of the channel where the prices are.
For 92.33, maybe I'am crazy... but it's not impossible. What I can say is, lets go to 57.80 first, then we will se how prices react on this level.
:)
Classic Breakaway gap on a 4-hour chartCasino industry has shown good relative strength in recent weeks with WYNN & LVS recently making all-time highs.
MGM had to absorb the fallout from the Las Vegas massacre on 10/1/17 but now also has broken out to a new all-time high, confirming the rest of the group.
WYNN has the strongest RS, MGM the least.
