Nordic Semiconductor is a solid company serving an important segment in the tech industry. The stock had the largest buy volume in its history in November, signaling an interest in investors at the November lows as the general tech industry saw a rally in their stock prices.
We will be adding Nordic Semiconductor to our portfolio.
NOD decision timeNOD has reached a crucial area.
The 0.618 fib, plenty of horizontal support and the 200MA coming up as well.
What concerning are the huge amount of gaps below still all the way to NOK 66.40 (gray lines) AND the strong continuous downtrend we’ve been in lately.
So bullish candles and break of the downtrend before touching NOD again.
NOD where to buy?NOD has made a W top formation, retested the neckline and is continuing its correction down.
Areas of interest are marked with red circles, being the 0.5 and 0.618fib retracements, lining up with horizontal support as well.
Once NOD gets there, we need to look for potential buy signals.
NOD looking for a buying opportunity.A little while ago I expected NOD to make a correction already, but it kept steaming on upwards!
Target for this one according to fundamentals is around NOK 130,-
However, the big problem with these runs is to find a good buying opportunity, especially if the price is at an all time high, so you don't have previous supports/resistances to work with.
So all I can go on is the most recent resistance turned support and the fact that NOD left 3 gaps recently.
So if it fills those gaps and revisits this support (and finds support), that would present an excellent buying opportunity on a bullish stock.
NOD bullish or not?So despite of any bullish signals NOD might give I’m very careful simply because of this picture on the monthly.
Bearish rising wedge broken and now an attempt to retest.
On the latest sprint up, some gaps are left behind as well.
For this to become invalid for me, we need to build a solid support first, then we can find our way up again.
Let’s see how it works out!
