this is when slippage comes into play.
and you do not want to be on the wrong end of a losing bet on CPI.
trust me i get it.
ive played CPI sucessfully 6 times in my career (had to get in before 830 candle which is just madness, complete gambling on my part no matter what fundamentals/technicals i had backing it, DOESNT MATTER ITS GAMBLING.)
the ones who dont understand that have never had a live account.
6 times ive come out on top with CPI in a row and i truly feel like i could do it many more times, in fact, i always put my thesis out and its for the most part always dead on.
but it only took that one time, banks fatfingering an order or whatever the case... and price blowing past my stop as if it wasnt even there, and having to frantically close out my order manually, maybe on the 20th click it finally found an order..... and by that time i owed my broker 2k.......................
moral of the story, dont gamble. most of you are just degenrate gamblers i understand that, but theres just so many more opportunities either a first bounce (7 mins into 15 minute news candle) 1 hour trade or 3rd hour trade.
