AusGroup Ltd. is an investment holding company, which engages in the provision of construction and asset management services to clients in the natural resource and industrial sectors. It operates through the following segments: Projects, Access Services, Fabrication and Manufacturing-Australia, Maintenance Services, and Port and Marine Services. The Projects segment provides structural, mechanical, piping, scaffolding and painting, insulation, and fireproofing services. The Access Services segment refers to access services include scaffolding, engineering and design, labour supply and stock control, logistics, transportation and rope services. The Fabrication and Manufacturing-Australia segment includes the solutions to the oil and gas sector through all phases of the asset life-cycle from exploration, construction, commissioning, and operation. The Maintenance Services segment provides preventative and breakdown maintenance services as well as shut down services, and sustaining capital works. The Port and Marine Services segment comprises of support services to the local wood chipping business and the offshore oil and gas industry through the provision of diesel fuel, port laydown, logistics, and transportation of heavy cargoes. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Subiaco, Australia.
