Should re-test $98 in 2021NVS is a long term reliable dividend paying hold, but I try to be careful with pharmas. A lot of possible catalysts that can change the direction too soon.
This is purely a trend line analysis. I see good indicators from trend lines in play and looks like the stock will re test the $98 high again before either a move up or down. I expect it to break downward by 2022.
Caution: slow moving stock. It won't bleed your portfolio on red days, but watching paint dry would be a lot quicker than watching NVS go up a few percentage.

$NVS Ready to Breakout?$NVS has been in a consolidation channel for 8 months now. It's tried and failed to breakout several times... I'm looking for this to break to the upside soon. With this much sideways action I have to think when it goes it should gain $10 to $15 in very short order. All TBD. I have an alert $0.10 above the last high at $92.20. Ideas, not investing / trading advice.

The Triangle has broken through the support line at 16/10/2020, if the price holds below this level we can have possible bearish price movement with forecast for the next 16 days towards 74.78 CHF.

- Swiss drugmaker Novartis grabbed a key European panel’s recommendation for its prospective cholesterol drug Leqvio on Friday, clearing the way for its approval in the next couple of months. Novartis is also counting on approval from U.S. regulators before the end of the year for the drug, also known as inclisiran, which the Basel-based drugmaker bought in a deal last year for nearly $10 billion and predicts will be a top seller.
