PLTR An interesting month, to be sure. I guess I'm anxious to see how the move to NASDAQ and inclusion in the QQQ will pan out. That boost, together with the melt-up the market seems to be experiencing might bring even more surprises. In any event, I'm not one for short term market timing lately. That works well for some stocks, but one thing I've learned about PLTR. Every sale was a mistake. Or, almost. I got lucky back in late 2021 when I sold the bulk of my PLTR because of an impending move overseas and the fact that I didn't have time to babysit my stocks at that point. Fast forward to July 2022 and I bought it all back and then some, and every time I got my hands on some extra money, I bought more. So I have lots of PLTR I bought in the $6 -$15 range.
At this point, I have more of a long term time horizon for the stock. If it goes up, I win. If it corrects, I keep buying more and I still win, long term. The total addressable market for the software is huge on the commercial side, and with the coming push to streamline the government and the obvious need to better utilize the money spent on the military, the company could also see robust growth there.
PLTR I was 3 years waiting to get my money back when I bought at 24 , then sold to brake even , now seeing that I could almost triple my investment if I had more patience and wait ...defenetely shares and stocks are just a big gambling ..don't look at data never works ..
PLTR Using some calculation I use in simply wl st, even in 10 years with a steady growth of 25% p.a, 35% profit margin, and a 45x future PE. This stock is still slightly overvalued.
I might tell my grandkids on how I burn 7k shorting a bubble.
