GOLD: Trend is still bullish on intraday chartHi Traders! Gold futures are up 0.6% at $2,793.50 a troy ounce after hitting a fresh record of $2,801.70 an ounce earlier in the session. The new high reflects safe-haven demand, boosted by uncertainty around the U.S. election, says Vivek Dhar, analyst at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. The growing likelihood of a Trump presidency has likely played a role too. Former President Trump's plans raise the risk of policy disruption, geopolitical tensions and a higher U.S. debt profile, Dhar says in a research report. These have further boosted gold's appeal as a safe-haven asset. CBA expects gold to average $2,800 an ounce throughout the fourth quarter of 2024. It expects gold to rise to average $3,000 an ounce by the fourth quarter of 2025. From a technical point of view, during yesterday's session Gold reached our TARGET 1 (see chart/analysis below), at the same time, the trend seems to remain bullish, and after a corrective structure on intraday chart, Gold could reach the 2,800 area also on the spot market. 🔴 ANALYSIS TARGET 1 (click and play on chart below) Thanks for watching.

Gold: Prepare to short or lighten your longsFrom my previous analysis on 1st Oct saying that Gold is taking a break, it did a sideway correction for the next 6 trading sessions before pushing up again. That was a "neutral" call. Now, I see that Gold is reaching wave 3 target of $2801, meaning there should be a meaningful enough wave 4 correction to go short or at least lighten your longs. There is a convergence of 3 Fibonacci extension levels around $2801, plus completion of 5-wave structure.

XAUUSD: Wait for a drop before rising, target 2800Yesterday, Wednesday, the United States released the October "small non-farm" data. The ADP employment in October recorded 233,000, the largest increase since July 2023. These figures are contrary to expectations of economic slowdown after the Boeing employee strike in October and the two brutal hurricanes and attacks on the US East Coast ports. The subsequent release of the US third quarter real GDP annualized growth rate recorded 2.8%, lower than the expected and previous value of 3%. Consumer spending, which accounts for the largest share of economic activity, increased by 3.7%, the largest increase since the beginning of 2023. At the same time, data from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis showed that the initial value of the annualized quarterly rate of the core PCE price index in the third quarter of the United States rose by 2.2%, roughly in line with the Fed's goals. Spot gold continued to hit a record high, hitting the $2,790 mark during the day, but failed to get above this level. From the current point of view, 2,790 is very likely not the high point of gold, but the risk of retracement also needs to be considered. Therefore, we can't blindly be bullish, but need to wait for a retracement before considering buying

XAUUSD See when to sell and when to buy.Gold (XAUUSD) has been trading within a Channel Up since the August 05 Low and since last Tuesday, the price action has turned sideways to the point that the 1D RSI is breaking today below its MA trend-line. This is a break-out consistent with the start of the previous two Accumulation Phases of the pattern, but in order to confirm this we need the RSI to close the day below it. At the same time the price remains bullish as long as it is being supported by the 4H MA50 (red trend-line). If both break, it would mean that the new Higher High of the Channel Up is in and that the best action would be to buy near the bottom again (2,700). Liquidity hunt around "point of control" at 2731. Target 2757There is a clear bull flag on daily, which will soon broken upwards. The liquidity hunt is happening around 2731 area with zone between 2714 and 2746. So be careful with the entry, do not enter blindly on entry line. Wait for rejection to happen.
