The fund tracks an index constructed by screening US divided-paying stocks for quality characteristics such as, return on equity and assets. A process that narrows down the universe to those in which the earnings yield is greater than the dividend yield. Next a screen for positive growth is applied, based on three to five year earnings growth estimates. The screening process results in a portfolio of roughly 300 companies with the best combined rank of quality, dividends, and growth factors. Positions are weighted based on dividend stream, which is the sum of regular cash dividends paid by all companies selected for the index. On April 5, 2024, CI WisdomTree U.S. Quality Dividend Growth Variably Hedged Index ETF (ticker: DQD) and CI MSCI USA Low Risk Weighted ETF (ticker: RWU) both merged into this fund.
