The fund provides exposure to an equal-weighted index that invests in stocks of Canadian banks. These banks must be primarily listed on the TSX and are classified by FactSet Industries as Major Banks or Regional Banks. To be eligible for inclusion, companies should meet instability and liquidity requirements. The underlying index rebalances semi-annually in March and September. The fund may hold constituent securities of the underlying index or may opt to invest in ETFs. The fund utilizes a covered call option strategy and engages in securities lending to generate additional returns. Additionally, the fund will maintain a leverage ratio of approximately 125% through cash borrowing.
