The fund is actively managed to capture a wide variety of fixed income securities. The fund primarily invests in CAD or foreign currency denominated securities issued by companies or governments. The portfolio mainly consists of investment-grade debt but may allocate up to 25% in non-investment-grade debt. The advisor employs a macro and fundamental analysis approach, using qualitative insights and quantitative tools and models, to allocate assets across varying credit qualities, structures, sectors, currencies, maturities, and countries.
