The fund is passively managed to provide exposure to the largest banks in Canada. To be considered, securities should either be major or regional banks, as classified by FactSet RBICS. The top six securities with the highest free-float market capitalization are selected. Using a rules-based methodology, banks are ranked and weighted based on dividend growth over the previous 12-month period. Hence, more weight is allocated to securities with higher dividend growth. The index is rebalanced on a quarterly basis.
