BP - BUY @ 240pReally exciting setup - very fond of BP as a business and their overall strategy 240 is the price I would buy at with targets at: 300p -> 375p -> 475pLongby XJ19YDNUpdated 111
BP Buying Opportunity into Earnings? BP looking to fall away into earning to complete retrace of previous failed breakout. Potential buying opps at 276 and 250 before continuing upwards to 355. Longby thepastorelliUpdated 445
BP plc - still some life in oil?Looking thorough a few UK stocks this evening and this one caught my eye. Has the oil and gas sector made a bottom? Is this a clear 5 wave move off that bottom from a global company? Two possibles are presented here, both bullish, but the blue count is calling for a deeper correction. Will need some more watching for me but it certainly looks interesting. Will have a look at a longer time frame to see if it offers me any more clues. Longby tomj2417Updated 1
Bp is not going to fly this weekBP broke out of a falling wedge then came back before the apex and it looks to go down further. The selling volume and all the other indicators pointing down isn't helpful either. What are they going to report in earnings? Business is booming? Keep in mind that this was a $40 stock precovid and with everything going on in relations to low demand i see this going sideways at best or going down further (more likely)Shortby Needlez33Published 223
BP PLC: Catching Bullish Continuation BP is stuck on a key daily/4h structure resistance. with a sequence of higher lows and formation of the ascending triangle formation, it looks like buying volumes are accumulating for a breakout. wait for 4H candle close above the underlined area. then buy aggressively or on pullback aiming at: 334.0 343.0 Longby VasilyTraderPublished 3338
BP forming wedge upI have just started studying trend analysis and chart patterns, but this looks like it may be a start to a wedge up for BP. Obviously this will be blown if BP cuts dividends, but from the recent hybrids bonds which were just issued, I am assuming that is not the plan in the near term. Longby AjRoachPublished 6

Bull or bear....time will tellI adjusted my count due to the price action that we had from the beginning of June and proposed another setup which can be in play if the price action fallows. Of course we can take in consideration the fact that we can see much higher prices before a correction will fallow but it's less probable. All i can say it's that the price action and the pivots that we fallowed are technical and gives me more conviction in the current count. by SebiiSbPublished 443

British Petroleum - BP Technical AnalysisWait the end of the price retracement before buying.by MaurielloPublished 7
A potential road-map for BP.Since we pivoted in march around 222 BP has showed a nice impulsive move from the low and we are still in the process to correct that. If that is a hard pivot and we gonna maintain that establishing a new trend or correcting the move of one larger degree. I've managed to find a point of confluence in terms of market geometry and Fibonacci levels in order to build a potential setup with a decent Risk Reward. So either we go for the Minuette 3 or Minuette C we still expect to see higher prices. And let's not forget the gap created from 395 ish. Longby SebiiSbPublished 5

BP Summer loving?Despite the gloomy oil industry news overnight BP didn't shift from its current low. For the past 20 years it has been range bound in a sideways channel which it dipped below on the 20th March. Historically a dip outside the channel has lead to 50% increases to the median line in an ascending channel zig-zag pattern. It has retraced 50% from its 2nd April local high and remains in the channel. But is this normal times? What will drive the demand for oil to get dig it out this time? I'm looking at around 430.00 for a take profit by September this year or get stopped out in the very near term and re-assess.Longby BrazilNutzPublished 2
Time To Buy BP Shares Hi traders. Following the turmoil with oil prices falling globally as demand for oil weakens, I am planning on purchasing shares in certain oil firms. One of these firms include BP. As oil prices are dwindling down, I would expect the earnings report released towards the end of April to be terrible news for the firm. Thus, I would ideally buy shares at low prices, to ride it on the upside wave as the market recovers from the pandemic. Entries from the lows made from during the pandemic could prove to be extremely profitable in the long term. This is just technical analysis . Do not follow this trade blindly! If you managed to read it this far down, thanks for reading this! If you could, please do offer your ideas & perspectives on this pair. Buy or Sell and why? Additionally, drop me your charts for it, that'd be great so I can see where you are coming from. Please drop a follow! I need reputation points!!Longby TheFinancialTRDRPublished 4
