Short term consolidationI expect the French CAC40 index to consolidate to 5850pts following the recent rally that has brought the RSI in the overbought territory and has enabled the closing of the Gap at 5995. Further more the index has reached the resistance level of the inner ascending channel that has rejected it several times in the past.

BUY TIME CAC40Hey, this is my idea for this week, I missed this morning's entry (thanks insomnia)!
With an ideal entry around 5950-5960.With a second possibility of entry around 5995-6000 knowing that it is an intermediate zone

CAC 40 Few weeks before we may enter a strong reverse. Right above 6000, we may start accumulating shorts.
FR40 definitely an index to include on your watchlist this year.On the long term view this index has made a bearish rally from the early days of February and made a low mid March, and a rally which looked impulsive, therefore we can conclude that the main trend is down.
According to the Elliot Wave Principle every motive rally has to be corrected to a specific fibonacci level, of which has been happening, price correcting in a form of a channel. It appears that the short term trend up seems to be loosing momentum exactly at the 78.6% fibonacci extension level which draws some attention to investors.
Price might drop significantly in the near future and this might happen faster than the side ways move we have been observing since mid March.
