AMERICAN AIRLINES - Up 12% since last postOne of the last 'Hidden gems'' trades of the covid era, American Airlines could be a nice flight to Money-Land. With airports opening and people around the world ready to fly and travel again, AAL stock is up over 12% since last post and technically the price is in an ascending channel and should rise to test the 30-32$ resistance with potential of breaching over towards the normal 50-55$ levels. Squeeze soon? Recovery stock bullrunIt’s about time to have AAL get new money and trap new money. Price is consolidating in the bottom of this channel for quite some time now. Prediction: invesrse h&s pattern. I’m expecting an impulsive move soon similar to last year in june when it jumped 100% in a short period of time. The golden fib pocket is sitting at ~39.40 Just be carefull because aal has been very disappointing I have yet to see it outperform/fight back when the market dumps. But I believe we will see a transition from overvalued techstock to undervalued recovery stocks to balance things out. GL

AAL. warming up.I am mostly just trying to keep my TA fresh. I am starting to find this is a really relaxing process for me. On the fundamental front, I don't think I like airline stocks at the moment. I read that airline stocks typically perform poorly when oil prices go up. I feel like oil prices will probably go up in the Biden administration only because that is a historically democratic thing to happen. The ABC correction got higher on the B wave than I would have liked, and lower on the C wave. This makes me think it might be not an ABC correction. I have been noticing that corrections often don't require a third wave down, and this has already but in 2 down waves, so I think it's likely that 2 up waves might follow. This idea is supported by the lower trendline respect, which is hard to bet against at this point. The uptrend to this point has been a strong one. I think it could likely be a bull flag we are looking at right now, followed by another upward wave.

AAL: Invisible BreakoutAAL made quite the move during the nights of April 23rd and April 26th, and that move was a gap up above the downtrend, with an open at $21.46 and a close at $22.00. This invisible move is very bullish, as AAL was in a downtrend for about a month and now the gap up has broken the trend. We failed to break $22, and are now ranging between $21.64 - $21.06. However, before we get too excited for a continuation, I presume the gap will be filled ($21.21-$21.46), as we gapped through a pretty major price level, as previously mentioned. Statistically speaking, gaps have about a 91% chance of being filled according to bioequity.org. Once this level has been cleared, I anticipate a continuation of the breakout by breaking out of the established range and continuing to the upside, as bullish sentiment for AAL will continue to be fueled due to reopening optimism.

Rating: 75/100 since their technicals are amazing but airlines are in a very tough position right now that could lead to some of them going bankrupt however the vaccine is getting rolled out so I'm not too worried.
