CIE fundamentals

CIE Automotive SA engages in the design, manufacture, and sale of automotive components and sub-assemblies for the global automotive market. It operates through the following geographical segments: North America, Brazil, Asia, Mahindra CIE Europe, and Rest of Europe. The North America Segment includes basically group companies in Mexico and United States. The Brazil segment consists of group companies located in Brazil. The Asia segment covers the Indian companies of the Mahindra CIE group, as well as the companies located in the People's Republic of China. The Mahindra CIE Europe segment represents the business for the manufacture of European forges, dependent on the Mahindra CIE group. The Rest of Europe segment comprises of all non-dependent of Mahindra CIE subgroup manufacturing businesses basically located in Europe. The company was founded on April 13, 1939 and is headquartered in Bilbao, Spain.
